takashirose
I have a Sony MZ-M200. I was wondering whether the remote from the sony MZ-NHF800 will work with my Sony MZ-m200? I am interested because there is an am/fm radio in the remote. Thank you.
sfbp
Sorry, no. The converse is true, the M200/RH1's remote ***will*** work in the NHF800. There are extra physical connectors in the plug (it's a funny shape) compared to the "vanilla" RM-MC38EL you get with your M200. It literally will not push into the socket. The sole exception (other than MD's for which a radio is intended as an accessory) is the MZ-R91. And that's not much use since it still doesn't support the radio, but inserting it (very tight fit) does seem to cure contact problems on the R91. However note that the RM-MC37LT (NF610, NF810) and RM-MC39LT (NHF800) are interchangeable, and either will fit in an MZ-NH700 and work nicely.
