Firmware Shipping on X Series Walkman

Hi there. I am thinking of ordering a NWZ-X1061FB 32GB X Walkman from B&H Photo and Video. I am just wondering if anyone who has brought one recently knows if they are coming from the factory with firmware 1.10 now. If you did, did you get it with the latest 1.10 firmware with the improved web browser? I hate doing it myself, always a risk. Would rather have it with 1.10 out of the box and ready to go.

I just bought it from B&H comes with 1.0 but easy to update, you dont really need to update because the web browser is a waste of space. But slacker is a god send

How long ago is just brought it? It may be a waste of space but sometimes there is subtle overall improvements in newer firmware versions that are never documented.

It was two months ago, i would still get it, just update the firmware its no drama. It doesnt format or anything, just run the exe and wait.

Has anyone experience with the language setting on X series? Can it be changed to japanese?
