sfbp
You need to know the PID (easy for a guy like you) and then you can modify NETMD052.INF, I think Stephen

sfbp
Trust me, don't modify 033. Much better to modify 052 because it will work with ALL minidiscs. But let us know how you get on. You can find the PID in device manager, of course.

I do not understand, but it has worked well so I did not need to try again on the 052.
sfbp
What exactly happened with the 052? Probably it (the modified one) never got installed, somehow. Probably you have to get rid of all previous driver installs. I assume you had a copy of 052.cat and 052.SYS also installed for your RH1....? If you tell us the PID, we can modify the setup files for 32 bit (052) and 64 bit (760) so that someone else coming along can have a ready made solution. phamcu
W7 is simply not noticed any change in the 052 and it does not accept the USB of S500. PID is the Sony MDS-S500 = USB \ VID_054C & PID_013F
