As you know I have a certain knowledge about the blanks and I think useful to point out three different types of blanks that have problems:

The maxell twinkle of 2000, the second set of twinkle.
The maxell decided to abandon the classic shutter transparent plastic to replace it with white plastic that looks more aesthetically beautiful.
The problem is that this plastic and very thin, it is easily deformed and often get blocked inside the unit broke within the same device. (See photo)

The second model is the TDK Music Jack 2001, aesthetically beautiful, it is built with a plastic very rigid and brittle; fell to the ground twice on two, broke a corner of the shell. (See photo).

The third model is always of TDK and the fine2003.
Aesthetically, this is also very nice.
The colored lateral part, on which one can write the archive of the tracks, is a paint that with the passage of time is detached. (See photo)

A nice day to all

When I first bought my mini disc in 1996 I bought a box of Sharp minidisc, they came in transparent cases and sounded excellent I still have them to this day and they have seen some rough treatment in the car as this is where they get the most use.

I've had a few maxell discs too, they are ok but you got to handle them with care, I've also had a lot of TDK with are just bomb proof, but Sony are the best, their case's flex better which prevents cracking
