freddyjollo
Any one know where you can get them (in the UK) I havent been using my md for the last 2 years or so and just looked back - seems like the supply of hi-md has dried up? I looked at Ebay and nearly had a heart attack at the prices some punters are dreaming up. eg http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3-x-SONY-1-GB-Hi-MD-Minidiscs-Made-in-Japan-New-still-in-original-wrapping-/200921053990?pt=UK_Sound_Vision_MiniDiscs&hash=item2ec7d3fb26 I do have 9 myself - seems like I have some gold stored away? Seems like I will have to make do. I think when I bought them they cost me about £30 in total

PsychoPimpKiller
I bought a couple of 5 packs of Hi-MD's for about $50 each about 4 years ago. I probably have close to 20 of them and I don't really use them all that much anymore. I mostly use the 80 minute or 74 minute discs anymore. I have some music on them that I recorded but the recorders got to be a pain because of the gumstick batteries. AA's are so much easier to find for my MDLP units. I use the Energizer Lithium AA batteries and they last a LONG time, especially when recording. I never really experimented all that much with the AA battery sidecars for my Hi-MD units. Maybe I should. Hmmmmmmmmmm
freddyjollo
hmm AA Lithium ? never heard of them. will have to try some. Apart. from my MZ-RH1 all my HiMD portables use AA. Would never buy anything that dont ( MZ-NH600 - uk model which has optical in. good enough)
