Can Sonic Stage 4.3 copies LPCM mode from CD to Hi-MD?

Okay, this may sounds primitive, but I have been using my DVD player, using fiber optic output to transfer songs in LPCM mode to my HiMD all these years.

Now, can you use sonic stage and simply copy that song in LPCM quality to the HiMD?

Yes. But SS' s ripping settings don't seem very good.

You better encode your Music with Sound Forge.You can choose better Quality settings there for atrac3+ for example.

Concerning PCM idk if this will be better, but i guess it is.

The perfect but more unconvinient solution would be ripping Cds with Eac and the importing thw .wav files in SoS.

too complicated for me. If there is a simple setting of copying 1 of the song on a CD via LPCM mode, I'll do the copy. If I have to monkey around, and I don't even have Sound Forge (Who on earth make that, does it cost $?), I might as well use the fiber topic cable of my DVD player and transfer the song to the HI MD

I rip CDs in aal 256 and push the 256 Part to himd.

In pcm i usually record with mics.
