Jimma
I have been having this issue for some time now and although I can live with it I was wondering if anyone knows of a solution. The problem occurs when I am importing folders into SonicStage. I can import one or two folders individually but when I try and import a third, SoniStage always says that it has encountered a problem and has to close. At which point the software closes and I have to re-open it and try and import the third folder again. The other problem I've been having is that when I import an MP3 compilation album and all the tracks are tagged as being by different artists, SonicStage seperates them all into individual one track albums by each artist rather than keeping them together under the one album title. Is there any way to stop this from happening? Many thanks.
sfbp
You can zap all the artist info before import, by fiddling with the info displayed. Or you can put SS into the 'Album' Mode where things are not sorted by Artist at all. Somewhere there's a switch where you indicate that "this is a compilation".Not sure about MP3's, I've only ever done this with CD's and ATRAC, sorry.Only two albums sounds suspiciously like a power problem, unless it's too much metadata overflowing some 1700-character buffer (see the legacy MD hardware thread you asked about that). What hardware are we talking about here?
