I wonder how he got it to work as they were 405 lines not 625 like modern tvs?

An old gadget I am still using: my Loewe Opta Venus Stereo radio receiver, built in Germany in 1959 ! And I have also connected the sound output of my satellite radio decoder to the AUX input of the Venus, to listen to Radio France Internationale, that is not available in FM in continental France, outside of Paris.

Sad man? I think he's got a more interesting hobby and perspective than 90 percent of the population.

Very interesting hobbies that people have. I sometimes wish that I could incorporate MD more into my daily life. Or even cassette tapes but I'm not that dedicated to them that much. I don't even have a cassette player car radio anymore but I do have 2 MD ones but neither of them have an AUX IN just in case I want to listen to something else. I may find a way though, we will see.
