sfbp
Busted overwrite head. Standard problem. Have to fix it or throw the machine away.
dfist45
Ok, What does "fix it" entail. it works fine as a playback machine and I'm ok with only using as a playback only machine
sfbp
all it takes is for someone to hit the track mark button and the disk is blank. Usually the ribbon cable cracks. Unless you have extremely good eyesight and an extremely steady hand with a soldering iron, I think this project is not for you. Better to buy something else. PhilippeC
And the something else will be cheap : around 20-30$ for a similar (same generation) unit.
