boojum Posted May 9, 2020 Report Share Posted May 9, 2020 I got my old MZ-RH1 out to check and find that the door will not open to allow insertion or removal of a minidisc. sfbp Posted May 9, 2020 Report Share Posted May 9, 2020 Likely locked for recording, with a minidisc inside it. You MUST apply power before there's even a chance to open it. Force it and bye-bye RH1. Even if the battery is dead (or missing), these RH1s will allow operating power to reach them from the USB. It's not recommended, but needs must...
