Hi, what SS want`s to do is to search for every file in the computer it can recognize as an audiofile (ATRAC, mp3,AAC,WMA and wav(pcm)) and put it to the SS library. It sucks! It finds files from games, videos with separated audiofiles, etc... so in the end the most you have in the library is crap. And presumably your SS find something corrupt or something who turn SS into a loop. Next time press no, and if you want music in your SS library update it manually instead.

  • 2 weeks later...

I would try the following - download the MDAC repair tool from the downloads here: http://www.atraclife.com/downloads/details.php?file=18

If that doesn't fix the issue - I would try downloading and installing:

1/ MDAC 2.8 SP1 - from here http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;displaylang=en

2/ Jet 4.0 SP8 from here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;displaylang=en if you are using Windows XP or from here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;displaylang=en if you are on Windows 2000.
