Zizone_
This has nothing to do with ATRAC or SonicStage and I hope this is ok to post here. When I open Internet Explorer, it just freezes. So I hit Ctrl+Alt+Del and internet explorer won't even show up there (can't close internet explorer that is not working unless I restart the computer)... I tried uninstalling and installed again, but I still get the same problem. Anyone knows how to fix this?Note: I really don't want to format the hard drive... It will take ages to move songs from my CDs... and album arts also... I am using Firefox at this moment, but I really need Internet Explorer since not all the Asian sites support Firefox...Thanks a lot. Zizone_
Oh, sorry about uninstalling part... I just deleted internet explorer so when I tried to open, internet explorer won't open. Then I installed the lasted internet explorer. But the problem still persists. Anyways, my windows and internet explorer is up to date (and all others things like video drives and etc.) and I also checked for the virus. So, I really don't know why it isn't working. Do you really install IE7?

RobA
You checked for viruses, but did you wipe out all spyware/adware as well? Viruses are the least of your problems when it comes to using IE, spyware is the crap that messes it up. Download Windows Defender here and scan with it: http://www.download.com/Microsoft-Windows-...tml?tag=lst-0-1It's free to use. Also download Adaware afterwords and scan with it as well, no anti-spyware program is perfect and it is good to have 2-3 of them. Adaware is very weak compared to Windows Defender, but it will pick up some of the stuff it misses. http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-SE-Person...tml?tag=lst-0-1After that you should be able to open IE. And for now on, never use IE, it's crap anyway. Go do yourself a favor and download opera, you won't ever go back to IE or Firefox. http://opera.com
aob9
Uh Oh, when you 'just delete' IE it leaves an awful mess and it won't re-install either. I had the same problem and was left with no choice but a complete re-install of Windows. Try www.pcadvisor.co.uk and post your query on the 'Help room' forum. There are some fairly smart people there.
