Looks like the S61X series come with stiff ear buds

I look on the sonystyle USA site and pictures confirm this.

So the 8gig A818 is $230, which has the better ear buds and no FM tuner, and the 8gig S618 is $210 and has a FM tuner and cheaper ear buds.

Which would you opt for?

I guess is depends on if one already has a good set of earbuds already.

I would go for the NW-A808!

I just don't like the looks of the S61X - however, if they looked the same then I might go for the S61X series as I'm not too fussed about the ear buds.

NWZ-S61X comes with MDR-E804 earphones, NWZ-A800 comes with MDR-EX82, so there is definitely a difference bewteen the stock earphones. NWZ-S61X doesn't look that impressive if u compare it with other Sony daps, but it still has a very decent design, it weighs 50g, 42x79.5x11.5, that's pretty small and compact

whatever headphones come with it, the first thing you should do while getting a with the sound quality of the sony, oy 90% of quality daps out there, is TROW AWAY THE BUNDLED BUDS,

get decent earphones, a pair of EP630 or Koss KCS75 arent that expencive,

I think I would go for the S618 because I already have a pair of Sennheiser CX-300 lol Screen smaler but has FM radio, possibly the same quality sound I presume & the colours are more vibrant. The only one I like in the A800 is black but I can't decide which colour of the S610 I like the most lol
