Album Art Not Showing Up

Question

Hey, not sure if this is the right forum.

I recently bought a NW-806 and it's great. But for some reason Album Art dosen't show up on some songs but it will show up if you are in Album view mode with the exception of the Kaiser Chiefs Album in which the songs show the Art but not in Album mode.

I think that makes sense

It's not a huge deal but it would be nice to know how to fix it.

Thanks :)

To assign album art in SS; do the following..........

In SS Library list your music in album/playlist format>right click on the album>select properties.

Open the folder containing the album art ( I usually download cover arts to a folder in 'My Pictures') and drag the image into the provided area>click ok. Wait while SS applies the cover art to each track.............done. Ensure 'intelleingent features' is also selected in transfer settings in SS options.

Another way that's if you don't convert to Atrac is to embed the cover art in the MP3 meta tag.

I use 200x200 pixels image for covert art and use Mp3tag to embed them, works all the time for me. Oh and one more thing do small transfers and not larger batch transfer in SonicStage.

Welcome to ATRACLife.

SonicStage can be quite picky on how the setting of various files.

Please check these on the Kaiser Chiefs Album tracks in SonicStage. That Each track has been named exactly the same in relations to Artist and Album. That is that they have no extra spaces. That the cases of the Artist and the Album are identical . Check to see if each track has Album Art associated (I do not think this is required, but a good check).

As suggested by tonyjaa you could just embed the Album Art directly into each track. However, I recommend using 300x300 or larger. Smaller images may seem to be blurry when viewed on the NW-A800 series player.
