efffect of virus on battery and sound quality

well i have noticed that a virus badly effects the battery soundquality of the sony mp3 player. so i recommend that u scan it daily and not to use it in an infectd pc.well the bst one is kaspersky i think.but virus have alot effect on the battery and sq of my nwe005 thanks god everything is cleared now.

that's insane. a pc virus hasn't any effect to an mp3 player, especially to sq and battery.

Seriously, unless it is a piece of code specifically targetting the MP3 Players' on board O.S I cannot see how it would affect it in any way.!!!!!!!

The virus would have to be SPECIFICALLY written for that firmware and somehow get itself onto the player's firmware, be running all the time (to reduce battery life), etc.. I think you may have had another problem (like maybe dust stuck in the headphone jack)?
