Tleilax
Just wonderin' how many of you have gone "all the way" and have put an in-dash MD or MD changer in your car in addition to having your portable or home deck...
Mystyler
I should be getting one when I get me first car.
Leland
My company car in Japan, a Lexus LS-430 (called a Celsior in Japan), has a factory MD player in the dash . Not MDLP thought. Newer Toyota's come with MDLP players in Japan. (Had one in a rented van when I went to visit Toyota hospital in Toyota Japan. Couldn't rent the Nissan, could I?) Prior to that, I have had head units in my two cars in California. These units are sitting in my garage now, idle. Non MDLP units, but I would sell them cheep if it was easy. (too lazy to ebay them)
highlandsun
JVC KD-MX3000 head unit - single-DIN, single slot that plays both CDs and MDs. I wish they had released a newer version with MDLP but they appear to have abandoned this player mechanism in their new offerings. I've had this for 4 years or so already, really love it. But now I'm having to use the AUX input to feed MDLP tracks from my MZN10. Oh well.

Devilbunny
KD-MX3000 here. I must say that the CD part of the mechanism hasn't gotten much work - even if I'm just listening to CD's, MD's are a whole lot smaller. And I could bring my R700 along for MDLP, but I've just gotten more blanks and dealt with it - I actually don't use the R700 that much, except as a recorder. I'd re-record to LP2 if I were taking a bunch of music on a flight.
LarryMac
I didn't get an MD deck or changer for my truck, instead I got a CD head unit that has a front "AUX" input. That way I can use my MD or even an old cassette Walkman (yeah, some of us old guys still have stuff on tape). It's the ideal solution for me -- YMMV.
