Unfortunately no. I think the unit, just like Portables, have a feature that, when something screws up in the service mode, allows auto settings for the optimal function... sorry m8 :cry:

The problem is not the unit itself... Have u already looked at ur headphones? They're OPEN! Get ahold of some MDR-EX71SL since they're closed... U'll see what's bass :wink:. And I can assure u, I had the stock ones on my MZ-R700, and when I changed to these, man, bass was really bass. If u buy one of these, they're really like subwoofers, and u won't listen the "outside" anymore!

Also, what is exactly the name of the function? I seem not to find it even on the MDS-JA333ES, so Sony hasn't got any function with that name... Are you trying to say "Smart Space" or "Auto Cut"?!

I am the one that sent to the administer the manual... I own a Sony MDS-JE480 Atrac S Minidisc Deck. Waht do u mean by auto-pause? What does it do?

The same appens to me about the remote. I haven't hacked yet because I want the 900's remote 1st, then the hack. But I want some to clean up my MD, coz the LCD is full with dust under the glass/plastic, doh. I can't get it out, and I don't even have any fault...

Yes, u can still record using Net MD on ur MZ-N10. Beware that when doing this, if u want to listen the MD's on ur car, u'll have to record in Mono or Stereo, not LP4 or 2... Just like I stated before. Even when u record through Net MD u have the option to choose from Mono/stereo/LP2/LP4, right :?:

Let's see if we're talking about the same thing. Sorry for not being clear, I just wanna help. Ur car MD radio doesn't record and doesn't have MDLP. So, if u buy the MZ-N910 u'll get a Net MD with MDLP. U want to connect it to the computer and transfer ur files to the MD fast, and then listen to it on ur car, right?

U can drag and drop files from the computer and record them into a MD, but to listen them on the car, u'll need to record the music files using Net MD in Stereo or Mono ...

Well, I can't tell the difference about the MDR-G73, coz I don't own anyone of those. Here in Portugal it's not very used that king of phones on the street, people just walk around with "normal" earphones. So if anyone goes out with such "headphones" everyone will look at him...

The normal headphones are too flat, lack bass big time, and are completely OPEN! U just can't concentrate on the song, and sound spreads all over but ur ears :cry: I personally use the ones that are on my sig, the Sony closed type MDR-EX71SL. They OwN! Superior bass (just like a subwoofer - this is true) and crisp sound with all the detail!

Well, if it is, I am sorry to inform u but that is not an MDLP model, though u can record up to 160mins in mono mode or 80 min. in stereo mode (considering an 80min. MD).
