I've been wondering where everyone comes from, not just the country, but possible ethnic background and regional location. Not that it really matters, it is just interesting. I'm from Canada, and I live in Southern Alberta. This is known by many as "The Bible Belt" of Alberta, and to even more as "The West". Canada is so big that the West and the East aren't getting along so well politically, and there are rumours of a seperatist party. There isn't much to do here, since I live in a City that is mainly populated due to industry and the local University. Oil and Farming (mostly Beef) are the #1 exports from around these parts, and I've been told there is more oil here (Alberta) then in the entire middle east, it is just really, really hard to get at since it is saturated in sand. It's the same thing that happened in Rawanda, and everyone is ignoring it. Sadly, it seems Eastern Europe, and Muslims aren't enough of a selling point for TV, and they are getting washed over in the news. I think it is sick that our news channels will report when Arab and Muslim extremists blow each other, or others up, but when they are being slaughtered by the truck load, no one seems to care.

I'm thinking about getting a Japanese player only unit and I was wondering if anyone had one for sale perhaps. "Whatever" Seriously, if you find yourself fighting over things like portable audio on a regular basis, maybe you should invest in a new hobby to divert your time. No offense if you really like portable audio, but if you are getting in fights with your friends/colleuges about portable audio, it may not be worth it.

Can you think of many more other ways to transfer tags from PC to MD? PClink, NetMD, that thing that used the paralell port on your computer, and some other homebrew titling programs. NotMD just may be pretty slick compared to some other homebrews.

r50 like the 1957 chevy? More like "The Homer" Actually I think the r50 looks pretty nice. However my fav is the r909, e900 or Sharp DS5, which I wouldn't mind picking up in pink or green. Nobody gave that portable enough credit.

CBC radio 3 is iTunes.com's #1 podcast. It's great because it plays almost all independant music, mostly from Canada. You'll hear some amazing music from this radio show.

I've never heard of a SCMS "switch" although most pro decks just don't impose SCMS due to the need to do many copies at the highest quality possible in pro applications.

What's the coolest gadget you have ever owned/own? For me it's my iBook, since it is so radical and there is so much it can do. Well it's no car, but I like it alot. Probably followed by my cell phone which is really functional as well as I've always wanted a camera-phone ever since I was in Tokyo. Yourself?
