I like Kylie, because I've never heard of Dannii. I don't think she has released a single in North america as far as I know. However, that isn't very far, I usually hate pop music.

8 hours a day atleast for my job, in which I wear an ear piece all day long. Other than that I try and listen atleast an hour a day.

Believe it or not, Banana-tree is my real first name. I used to be "ZombieTycho" and still am at the AudioT board. It was based on a character from the Penny Arcade Comics that wore Tycho Brahe's clothes, but was a zombie they all hated. My actual real first name is Jaron, kinda different but mostly boring. So after I read the famous Robert Pinsky poem "Impossible to Tell" I have an alternative name "Bashõ" which I use as a prefix for all my MSN messenger names. So there you have it, Bananatree stuck, because of some foruming that actually carried over from the internet to real life, and a group of people only knew me as "That Bananatree Guy".

Raid a few disks together and get a TB going eh? An External DAC would be nice as long as you kept it away from your fans/motors/whatnot. I remember with my n505 netMD, I could hear the disc spinning, who wants that? Unless you are just using speakers, then, I'd just use an internal if it's more cost effective.

I'm still looking for an external sound card with similar specs that I can garuntee will work on OSX.

Sadly MD just doesn't work with Mac OSX the way it does in Windows, only the new Mac compatible recorder can upload PCM to a Mac.

1stly: The New (2nd Gen) cannot record SP, or Fake SP. 2ndly: The older units cannot read HiMD discs. So you need to get a normal 60/74/80 minute disc and record using either a vintage player, or a 1st gen HiMD recorder.

One wav file to your MD, in PCM I guess, then chopping it into little bits would do this. MD does not make gaps, nor does HiMD. However putting mp3s, or other gappy formats, and transfering them into ATRAC or just on to a ATRAC device won't make them gapless. Hope that helps and welcome to the forums.

Siddons M.D You can "group" the tracks, and bookmark, but once the music is on the disc, it is kind of fixed there unless you move it. Even though with HiMD using FAT, you'd think that Sony could outfit HiMD with a playlisting option. However, regular MD is Disc=playlist in almost all situations, unless you have group mode, but then you have to keep the track all in a row, or move them on this disc so they can be made into playlists. (however, you cannot have one copy of a song in 2 different groups)

I have the same deal as Syrius: Them: "My internet doesn't work" Me: "Alright, I can help you with that. Could you tell me what brand name your modem is?" Them: "Let me give you to my kids, I don't know anything about computers" The thing that burns me about this is, that it isn't hard to just read a brandname off of a little box. Also, why did YOU call in if you know crap about computers? Did you think I have an internet ON/OFF switch?
