  1. I know I would. That music is not common in the music stores here in Rochester, NY. Valder
  2. I'm in, but it will have to be SP for me as my NH900 has not shipped yet. International is fine for me. I have some nice blanks to share! Val
  3. Unfortunately no coax out in the house to play with. Val
  4. Have not tried that, but I might have to this weekend.....though I am not holding out that it will work. Val
  5. I'm selling a Sony MZ-E707 **SOLD**. It is very good Mechanically, but has some surface scratches so it is not mint. Pics below try to capture the most of the scratching. It only comes with the unit, two gumsticks and I'll toss in a couple of MDs. No Remote, no headphones or anything not listed. PM me or email me if interested. Valder
  6. http://www.minidisc.org/part_Pioneer_MJ-7MD.html]http://www.minidisc.org/part_Pioneer_MJ-7MD.html Wanted to post an interest check here to see if anyone is interested in a Pioneer Elite home MD deck. It is non MDLP and on the high end side of MD decks. It is in Mint condition with the remote and manual. The deck sounds better than any other deck I have used and blows away any of the portables I have had. It has the Legato Link circuitry that Pioneer had in their Elite CD players back in the 90s. You can read about it here... http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/prod...DetailComponent]http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/prod...DetailComponent It also has an optical out for anyone that is looking for that feature in a deck. Pictures added... http://www.pbase.com/dirtweed/image/55225217 Email or PM if you want to talk more about it. Valder
  7. Thanks for the feedback guys. I know it is an old thread, but have to clear my name. The seller took several days to answer my questions....I did not have a warm and fuzzy feeling that the product would be shipped in a timely manner. Then turns out he had it on ebay the whole time and was pissed that I didn't take it after waiting several days to hear from him. http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=8795 Also check ebay under the name valder for my feedback. I'll be selling a few things here and listing them as well at at Audio T-Board so good to see I have the proper support. Val
  8. LOL! OMG I just thought I would check in here. Give me a break a guy can't ask a few questions about a unit. Whatever. Valder
  9. Amoxicillin for the Boy....gotta love allergy attacks that turn into sinus infections. Valder
  10. Thanks Disso! Seems like I'd have to get the 700, 800 or 900 as I can use AAs or the NiMh gunsticks that I already have. Probably better as I have no more room for another cradle with the Kenny DMC-S9Net and soon to be EH1 on my desk. Valder
  11. Thanks Sefu....I'll be waiting on that. Any word on the NH1 power supply voltage and if it is a world votage? Valder
  12. Yummy. I like the white. This would be good for traveling with the speaker dock. Val
  13. I know I am. My Pioneer Elite MJ-17D is staying with me for life....just like my Pioneer CLD-1090 LD player. Good luck. Valder
  14. That is what I was thinking when I used scotch tape. Valder
  15. I was thinking of using hot glue...wonder if it will stay? Thanks epoxy is probably a better idea. I have epoxy for my fly rod building might as well get them all done and just fill them in at one time. Valder
  16. Just tape over the hole in the back of the disc covering that is under the write protection tab. Once you do that you can write to the disc. http://www.pbase.com/dirtweed/image/44828115 Valder
  17. I wasn't all that careful as I did not care if they survived the transformation. I'll give it a go tomorrow on another HiMD and see if I can get it to live. Off to bed for now. Valder
  18. I found the TDK Fine discs are more brittle and I went through a few of them to get a good cover. The Sony discs seem a bit more flexible and the Hello Kitty discs just about popped apart. The HiMd discs I have trashed every disc casing. I got the regular Neige and Fine discs cheap so I don't mind wasting a few to try it out. I think I'll be only using the Neige discs and putting the 1GB HiMD shutter on them so as to tell the difference between them and the regular discs. I have to think of a sticker to use to cover the 74 on them though. The Hello Kitty discs I am just leaving them as is....darned things were $6. HA! I am also gluing the cases together as well...I just did a quicky yesterday with tape to see if it worked OK. Valder
  19. Man you are alot more careful than I was last night! LOL! Hope those are powder free latex gloves. I always hated wearing those in the lab.... http://www.pbase.com/dirtweed/junk Oh yeah don't forget to cover the hole under the write protection tab on the back in order to record on your new HiMD if you keep the back of the Std MD. I like to keep the backs of the Std MD as I use Neige, Hello Kitty and now my TDK Fine blanks. Valder
  20. Every new CD I buy gets tossed in the Sony ES player and recorded in SP on the Pioneer Elite....as SP is all it does. Otherwise using netMD or HiMD I use lp2 for traveling. Can really load up a 1GB with lp2. Handy on those longs flights. Valder
  21. I thought that there was discussions that there would be a DRM wrapping of the MP3 files. Valder
  22. Yeah I doubt that would happen. The 900 is a great sounding unit. I bought a like new one about two weeks ago for $180 USD knowing that the new units are not far away. Now I'm not sure I need a 2nd Gen, But I know I want a Orange RH10! Val
  23. You had it on ebay as well and you are pissed that I didn't take it after waiting for 3 days to hear from you....oh that is good! Valder
  24. Sent an email and PM this morning NY time...must be in bed have not heard back. Val Like a need another player now. There is always want I guess.
  25. I ordered my 5 on Feb 17th and I just got them today. Took long enough. Valder
