Ajaja, employ lossy compression and pad it up to 1411kbps... sounds very Sony-like though

In this day and age, only a senile person would encode in real-time. (live recording activities aside)

Adrian, this isn't the T-board and you're merely a pawn here... so please do try refrain from being a little too cocky, thanks.

I don't forcefully influence anyone's decisions, thank you. User experiences speak for themselves, and I'm just glad this place isn't filled with 'know-it-alls' who just repeat the experiences of others while they actually know zilch. If Cori decides to go the iPod way, it's her own decision and not mine. I just provided her with the advice she asked for. Everyone here has got a brain of their own to decide for themselves.

Zombie you're so cool!

Aja. Those are actually better suited for professional uses (ie. stage) though I've heard they sound fantastic.
-
ROFLMAO. I use Firefox, idgit. But just proving a point that you don't really need any add-ons for popup blocking within IE.

Please do not post duplicate threads - keep your (related) questions in the same thread. This time I've merged it for you, but the next time I'll just delete it. It's pointless to ask what the preferences of others are in this case since the E2s and ER-6s sound entirely different. It's not as simple as comparing which has a stronger bass and which is more detailed, but the way each earphone sounds as an overall experience. Listen to both and do a comparison for yourself. It's not something that can be compared scientifically.

IE + SP2 -> built-in popup blocker.

[OT]OMG, I thought you were only kidding...[/OT]

IMO you're asking too much of a hundred bucks. The ER-6i goes for USD120-ish but although it's reasonably detailed, it's also a little bass shy for most. Like Aer said, I would think the Shure E3s would fit you best but they're not within your price range.
-
LOL, rest assured the ER-6s go a lot higher than 16kHz. Ety is just over conservative with their measuring standards.

1) Don't double post. Edit your previous post. 2) No where does she say that 64k ATRAC3+ is inferior to LP4. 3) Thank you for policing the forums, but that's our job. If you did my job, Chris wouldn't be happy with me.

Gold BATTLE axe... CHOPPITY CHOP! Cor likes Adugay... *ugh*

#1: The angry boomer smirks as he releases a dual wave of boomerangs up against the wind #2: The first wave of boomerangs flip straight towards aeriyn, dealing damage and causing bolts and debri to fly off her boomer #3: The second wave follows suit while Thor unleashes his mighty power at aeriyn... more nuts and bolts fly off... the poor girl... xD #4: Cori is flat out pwnt as she suffers incredible damage from a single round and is sent up to heaven Interested? http://www.gunbound.net/

Um did I mean to be sarcastic, or are you simply just assuming? I think the smilies used would have helped impress that fact.
-
Guilty as charged.

God believes in war and abuse of power? :wacky:

Ajaja! You Aussie too mate? I hope by Hi-Fi you don't mean one of those Sony "Hi-Fi" component systems.
-
^ Yuck? They sound like crap, and for the price they're being retailed for I'd rather get Etys.
-
Hehe. ER-4s aren't anywhere the same as your E2cs. There's a big difference in the isolation abilities of the 2. Impedance doesn't mean much if the drivers are sensitive enough, and the ~20dB isolation just makes your music sound relatively louder to environmental sounds so it appears louder. And yes, decks are better at reaching the maximum recording levels so that may explain why the N505 records at lower levels. All MD enthusiasts should really own a deck.
-
Yeah, ER-4P/6/6i will run fine out of any portable. I fact, in terms of relative loudness I'd say they're more efficient than D66s. Seems we've got an Ety following here. Now I don't recall my R90 making much noise at all. With my ER-4s (both foamies and triflanges), even the air conditioner becomes nothing more than a mere background hum, so I'm gonna jump the gun and say either your R91's defective or you're not getting a good seal with your Etys.
-
This forum gets better all the time. Glad to see we're attracting all the intelligent discussion here.

Why would you worry about motor noise if you're using Etys?
