  1. so whats with the diffrence in input vs output db? did you turn output down or something? if not then wtf is going on? oh and btw, that comment of andys about rotateing a jpeg sounds more like a bug in the software then something with the image compression as rotateing a image is just reading the same image data into a diffrent reference (vertical becomeing horisontal and left becomeing right and so on). altering speed while keeping pitch sounds more like stretching a image horisontaly while keeping the vertical stable...
  2. most likely the drm aspect will kill it just like sony is currently suffocating its userbase with drm...
  3. well as long as its not so sensitive in the write prosess as a cd-r or dvd-r i can survive i guess. it will just take very long to save large files (just put the task in the background and make damn sure you dont do it at the last needed minute)
  4. hmm, anyone feeling like copying a knoppix cd onto a md? but why is the transfer slow? is it the media write prosess or just sony being cheap?
  5. grr, whats with the slow filetransfer? is it the media that does it? i was hopeing to get a external rw device with proper storage space and that was not a encased hd unit. looks like sony have shafted a very good concept
  6. well given that one still dont have ngscb or similar running on a computer what stops anyone from writeing a sudeo driver that acts like the diskwriter in winamp? you play the song in sonicstage but rather then going to the soundcard it goes to the software device that converts it into pcm/wav and saves it to disk?
