Hey guys, as most of you know I own a Sony MZ-NH1, which is fantastic for recording everything I want to, and to also listen to music. My Problem is that I would like a device that has a longer battery life, and is able to store A LOT more music (I know you can just keep buying the 1GB discs... but I would like everything to be in the one place... if you know what I mean) So I am asking you guys what device you think would be a good option. I will definitely keep my NH1, as we all know nothing beats MD's for recordings.... but I would just like more space for all my songs... My cousin has one of the new iRivers, that holds 40GB, and can play back movies, and I recon that would be pretty sweet... I DON'T want an iPOD, as they are just shit with their cracking/leaking screens... What would you all suggest? I would like a lot of storage as well... like 40GB is pretty good I am going to Singapore on Thursday (3 days time) so am hoping to get something there using Duty Free. Thanks everyone - Andrew

Format's demise leads to Australia facing massive Minidisc liquidation.

Went to a Sony Shop yesterday in World Square in Sydney City, and they are selling 2 different MD's, can't remember which one's but the prices are $525+ ahahah -
Yeh!! I agree with Madonna though Kylie just looks aged becuase she is currently undergoing Cancer Treatment...

I haven't had this problem at all with my remote. Best option is to take it back to Sony, tell them you want a replacement as it has already been fixed, but still is broken. Say you don't want it to be re-repaired, but to get a brand new remote.

Ahahah thanks heaps guys!!! Was a great night... went to the local with some goo mates and chicks, and had some nice coldies I won some prizes as well soi it was a good nite! The next day was recovery day, but I went out that nite (last night), cept got kicked outta 1 pub cos our shoes were to informal, so went to another, waitied 30 mins in the line, and then left coz we woulda had to wait another 1 hr, then went somewhere else at 11.30pm.. and that place was just about to close so called it a night So a pretty boring Thursday night Today, I went out and bought 3 new pairs of shoes! for different occasions, and made sure I bought some non lace up shoes for clubs!

Didn't know you lived in Sydney tartan! The way to PROPERLY find out you EXACT location, is to put in a "PlaceMark" To do this, click on ADD - Placemark. A little pin will come up on the screen, and you can move this where ever you like... (it is like a bookmark, which is saved on GE, and when you come back, just click on the LHS and you locations will come up) When you click the Placemark, a window will pop up, where you can enter the name for the Placemark, but if you click the ADVANCED box at the bottom of the window, and then click the LOCATION tab, it will come up with the exact co-ordinates for that Placemarker, and they are written correctally. Tiesto I think you gotta re-write your co-ordinates... couldn't make any sense outta them Oh and to search with co-ordinates, at the top on the LHS of GE there is "Fly To" "Local Search" and "Directions". Click on Fly To, and then just copy the co-ordinates we post in here, into there. Only problem is it has to be written correctally. It can either look like this - 33 44'29.71"S 151 11'30.44"E, or 33°46'24.40"S 151° 9'31.58"E Good luck Google Earthing!

The centre of Paris should have lots of shops shouldn't it?

Live Recording = 1/2 Playback/Listening to music 1/2.... All depends on what is happening... I might have to do lots of recording for school, or I might be studying, so listen to lots of music.

I am the same as ynos... we had a pretty wild storm for about 5 mins here... and I have this weather satellite image for Google Earth, so I got it up to have a look at the cloud ova Sydney etc.. and then I started to go to other places... and then this thread came up Go to Africa... quite amazing!

Yeh, basically very clear pictures, but only of a 30 metre by 30 metre pic.. and then everthing around them is blurred... but there must be over 100 National Geographic pics and info JUST on Africa, which I recon is awesome.. this new thing has also coem in, where people can upload there info onto Google forums or something, and it automatically gets updated to the Google Earth... so in like New York.. there are 1000's of I's for Info.. with liek shit people had decided everyone else must know (luckily you can disable this) I only ever use OpenGL, but must check out DirectX this instant!
