Yes indeed it is. Those peculiar little funnels (over the tubes) are actually used to dissipate heat and (in theory) to prolong the life of the tubes. Personally, I don't think those funnels will dissipate much heat and I have since taken them off.

"1969 MILES: FESTIVA DE JUAN PINS" was definitely recorded during the Juan les Pins Jazz Festival of 1969 at Antibes. Not sure why the variation in spelling, but it's one brilliant recording.
