Transfer via SonicStage with the other laptop as well? In any event, SonicStage has been known to not work with VBR Mp3s. If your music intended for file transfer is of Mp3 VBR type, you may need to reconvert them to fixed bit rate Mp3s. (i.e. CBR type) In addition, only Mp3 format of 32 kHz, 44.1 kHz and 48 kHz sampling frequency can be converted to ATRAC3/ATRAC3plus format.

I've installed SonicStage 4.3 of JEB version - no installation problems at my end. Sorry mate, I'm running out of plausible solutions for your predicament. If anyone has a clue please do chime in.

To which regional version were you trying to install? Perhaps, you can try installing from the Asia-Pacific or JEB link within this thread.

Perhaps a black RH1? The NH1 only comes in silver and gold.

According to Sony, the newly updated Windows Vista Compatible Driver for NetMD and Hi-MD is not compatible with 64-bit Vista.

The BASIC series, obviously utilizes the same disc shell as the NEIGE series.

I think they are fairly new; most likely from 2006.

Sony BASIC Like the NEIGE, the BASIC series comes in just one simple scheme: clear shell with green lettering; available in 74min and 80min.

You did mentioned in the other thread that OpenMG Limited Patch did installed as it should. How about OpenMG Secure Module? Were you able to get pass OpenMG Secure Module during the installation process? In any event, before you attempt reinstallation of SonicStage 4.3: remove any remnants of SonicStage if there are still present within your system as outlined under "How to properly reinstall Sonicstage/etc" within our SonicStage Software FAQ. clean your registry with CCleanerIf you are still unable to reinstall the latest version of SonicStage, you may need to consider rebooting your Windows in SAFE mode and proceed accordingly. Good luck and report back if the problem still persists.

Those additional "CD importing format" were available since SonicStage 4.2. Nothing new and furthermore it has been covered in depth within MDCF and ATRACLife. We would appreciate it if you would utilize the forum search feature in the future.

Does SonicStage recognize your NW-E003? ensure that you are not employing a USB hub. If so, please try and connect your Walkman directly into the PC's USB port. Did you at any time format the device via Windows? Note: you should only format the NW-E003 via its operating menu (please refer to page 37 of its manual for further details)
