This is good news indeed... considering the E99 is a somewhat an older Network Walkman player.

Short Review: Sony MZ-E10 (Silver)
Ishiyoshi replied to Tiesto's topic in Product Reviews/Pictorials
The Hi-MD variant of E10 is actually EH1; of course it's not as slim. -

Ishiyoshi replied to tmsnyder's topic in Technical, Tips, and Tricks
That would be ideal - start a new thread (which will be pinned accordingly) with in-depth guide and pictorial and this thread can remain open for further discussion. -
Thanks Rumz!

If you like the XD series, I would recommend the XD200 (range from USD$20-US$30).

Update: I conducted a test of my own - titling Chinese characters with the NJStar Japanese Word Processor. Results were good but some Chinese characters are still not supported. A few examples: 呢, 癮, 同, 你 kuma, can you successfully title any of the above Chinese characters? If you are able to; please do let me know what you do different. Thanks.

Sony VAIO Pocket VGF-AP1L Pictorial
Ishiyoshi replied to Ishiyoshi's topic in Product Reviews/Pictorials
@ Tamim: Honestly, the lyric function is not a useful feature for me, so I did not test it. To answer your query: I believe you can view lyrics while the song in question in on play; just not within the same window. As for lyrics input, you will need to add the lyric texts via SonicStage. @ iori: You can't manually assign music ratings for each music track - music ratings are assigned according to the playback frequency of each music track. -
That's brilliant, kuma. I'm glad you can now view the desired Chinese language titles of your favorite music album. Thanks for sharing.

That's a good method. I hear one will require software such as NJSTAR, right? Perhaps, you could elaborate your methodology further.

Congratulations Volta! ... and do enjoy the sun in France!

Sony VAIO Pocket VGF-AP1L Pictorial
Ishiyoshi replied to Ishiyoshi's topic in Product Reviews/Pictorials
Sorry about the abrupt move - I should have included a forward link here. Anyway, the topic in question was large enough to warrant its own thread. -
If Chris can get the PSP and HiMD to work under Windows XP 64-bit, it is highly plausible for the VAIO Pocket to work under 64-bit. I would be happy to conduct a test if I can get hold of a copy of Windows XP 64bit.

Interesting initiative; here's your own thread. *the following texts are iori's response to the topic in question

Sony JP warns non-Japanese PSP's to not update
Ishiyoshi replied to Christopher's question in PlayStation
From my experience with Sony products, you can employ its firmware upgrade regardless regional designation. I am quite confident that you can patch your US PSP with North American firmware 2.0 over the Japanese equivalent this August 12. -
According to Victor.JVC, "sound lifter" is a feature used to create surround sound so to speak; as illustrated in the picture in the preceding posts. As for its VPT Acoustic Engine equivalent, the Clavia: RC-L1MD employs Victor.JVC's alpha sound engine.
