Just to answer a few of your questions: Answer: Yes, that is absolutely correct. Answer: Yes and No - this feature is currently only fully functional with the PSP. Answer: Initialization simply deletes the content of the disc or media in question. However, I never experienced mandatory initialization with my non-MD portable device such as the VAIO Pocket (using SonicStage Japanese version) Answer: Yes, you will need to completely delete your DRM library if you want to maintain a total non-DRM library and re-import CD --> ATRAC accordingly. *I will leave someone else to answer your other query.
