Welcome to MDCF, MythicWolf! I concur with jadeclaw. Both MDs should be identical in sound quality or if you will, sound reproduction. In fact, all MD media (except for the MD2000 and perhaps the ES MD media) are identical in terms of sound quality.

Please refer to Minidisc.org's Equipment browser and download E510's European user manual for further details. Update: According to the European user manual, the European version has a headphone output of 1 mW + 1 mW.

I am moving this thread to the appropriate section of the forum. By the way, this etailer - ibuyplasma.com - seems ok. You can review its merchant ratings here.

I am sure a generic 5V AC Adaptor will operate safely with the MS702 as long as its specifications resemble the original.
-
Thanks for the input. With your clarification, it is plausible to state that the designation - "H2" denotes the unit being a European unit.

Welcome to MDCF star-trooper! I reckon a fix is in order with the next version of SonicStage.

Heh… I am as awestruck as you guys. I love the fact that Bluetooth is being incorporated with the PS3. This is just fabulous!

Discussion to "Guide For Sony MD LCD Remotes"
Ishiyoshi replied to Fat Tires's topic in Technical, Tips, and Tricks
It is plausible to say yes; at least all basic features of the RH910 will function on the RM-MC55ELK accordingly. -

The "Godfather" looks very efficient and it appears similar to "Tag&Rename."

@ Sonicrage: If you have not resolve your problem, please refer to the end of this thread for solution.

That's an interesting solution - installing one version over the other.

The H2 is perhaps a regional designation and the two do not differ significantly. The former being an European model and the latter being a Japanese model. For the MS702H2, please refer to its user manual and the MS702: refer to Minidisc.org's equipment browser for further information. Can anyone confirm this?
-
Welcome to MDCF! The Japanese version of NW-HD3 does support Japanese and Chinese text. However, I can't confirm if other versions of NW-HD3 (specifically European and North American models) has Japanese text support.

Welcome to MDCF! Try the following steps: 1) Delete/Remove Hi-MD device within the Device Manager 2) Unplug/Remove any USB devices currently connected to your system 3) Reboot your system and launch SonicStage 3.1 4) Connect your Hi-MD device to your system via USB 5) Your O/S system should recognize and install the Hi-MD driver accordingly. 6) At this point, SonicStage 3.1 should detect your Hi-MD device.

Many of us have at least two portable units; one being a portable recorder and the other being a portable player. A combination of both devices will definitely help prolong the optical block of the RH10. In fact, I am planning to acquire either the EH1 or EH930 to complement my current Hi-MD devices - the RH10 and NH1.
-
Do not despair. There must be a solution to your predicament. I am sure one of our members will provide suggestions shortly.

I am sorry that the MDAC repair tool didn't work for you. It is usually the remedy for this problem. Which version of SonicStage 3.1 did you download? The official Sony version or the one from MDCF? If you downloaded the latter, I would suggest you download the official version from this link and install according to the FAQ.
-
Welcome to the forum! The "cannot locate the files required to open the database file" issue can be resolve by re-registering the MDAC. You can download the MDAC repair tool here. Good luck and do let us know how it goes.

If you have access to YJapan Auctions or Bidders Japan, you can virtually get it for about 7,000-10,000 yen. The pink one is pretty cute. My sister have one and I got to view it when I went home to Japan last year. By the way, where are you located? If you reside in Asia-Pacific, you could try your luck with e-store from Hong Kong or Taiwan as well.

Click "run" and type in regedit. Then delete this tree/entry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Sony Corporation\Personal Audio Driver. Reboot your pc and try and reinstall Personal Audio Driver. I hope this will help rectify your issue. Did you try and read the third post of the thread I have provided?
