Have you tried removing your existing Sony Personal Audio Driver and reinstalling it? In addition, please read the third post of this thread for an alternate solution.

Please do read this thread before posting for support request. This is important so we can provide you with the appropriate solution. Edit: I just realized that you have already created an identical thread a week ago. I am merging this thread with the other. Please do not create identical threads. One will suffice.

The E710 is about the same in terms of sound quality with the E10. I can't really discern any significant difference in sound quality between the two. In my opinion, it's a relatively good and slim portable NetMD player. You are quite right about the female symbol... I never paid much attention to the cradle till you point it out. interesting... heh

I do not have a definite answer for you. However, you can start by reviewing the Windows Task Manager --> Processes Tab by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del; and review the memory usage accordingly. In addition, the following link might be worth a read: The Difference Between System Resources and Memory

Yes, it is the NVX-Z555. Beside the 30GB HDD, monitor and navigation modules, the NVX-Z555 includes the DVD, CD, MD, TV, radio, and amplifier modules as well. That is just a regular 80 min MD. Please refer to this thread for further details on the 1gb blue Hi-MD disc.

Choice #3 added to your poll.

Welcome to MDCF! Try using a new NiMH battery. If the problem persists, please call your local Sony Service Center and explain your predicament. In addition, if your warranty is still valid, you should get repair service at no charge.

Welcome to MDCF. Please refer to the MD Equipment Browser accordingly for the information you seek. In addition, please also use the search utility; you will be pleasantly surprised with the immense discussion regarding the differences between first and second generation units.

This is not a problem per se. The pause you experienced is somewhat beyond the norm. When trying to import a CD, a short 1-2 seconds pause occur when SonicStage 3.1 retrieves CD-Text info from the CD itself or CDDB. Editing track titles within the music library takes a mere second to process and about 1-2 seconds for the Hi-MD media. Perhaps you need to review your system specs and tweak a little. In addition, check your system processes and review memory usage accordingly.

Or you could employ a photographic lens dust blower; a strong burst of air will do the job. Back to the topic: Don't forget AXIA. In my opinion, AXIA is one of the best; they are very innovative - have one of the best designs and its slip case build quality is impeccable.

It would be most interesting indeed. In addition, had PSP adopt Hi-MD media, we would have seen a 2GB Hi-MD media since UMD disc has a 1.8GB capacity.

Heh... you want emulation? How about a Gameboy emulator for PSP? According to this website, a PSP gamer from Japan has posted up a homebrew coded Gameboy Emulator for the PSP. Check it out! Aye... it's only matter of time.

Bang & Olufsen: Beogram RX 2 radial tracking stereo turntable A few months ago, I acquired a mint condition Beogram RX 2 to enjoy vintage LPs; and also with plans to transfer rare LPs to MD. This is truly a beautiful sleek machine and I have since enjoyed many vintage LPs with it. Highly recommended if you can find one; simply just love vinyl or if you plan to transfer your LP collection over to a digital format. Enjoy the pictorial. General Information and Features (source: Beocentral) Beogram RX 2 | Radial tracking stereo turntable (1985-1990) | 33/45RPM | Type numbers: 5831, 5833, 5835 Taking the place of Beogram 1800, the RX 2 continued the theme of a Beogram that could be used with any Beo system. However, the concept was this time expanded to offer compatibility outside the B&O range, by fitting the RX with two RCA phono plugs, instead of a 5 pin DIN plug. The front was also re-styled, and became flat, which had the unfortunate consequence of making the RX look a lot taller in the base than the 1800, which appeared very slim indeed. Similar to most Beogram 1800, the RX 2 featured record sizing by weight. When Play was selected, the centre part of the platter would raise gently, with only just enough force to lift a 45RPM single. An LP would be too heavy to lift, so the mechanism would set itself to 45RPM and 18cm if the record lifted, 33RPM and 30cm if it did not. The speed control keys could then be used to override the choice for non-standard records. The parts could also detect if a record was not present, and prevent the turntable being activated. Nonetheless, the RX 2 was to be the last of this family of machines to be offered and the last radial turntable in the B&O range. Changes over the RX are minimal, the most important being that the RX 2 is not supplied with a pickup, choice being left up to the owner.

Don't get over excited here. No one cares to flame you. Regardless your interpretation and claims, we feel that the link leads to a site which obviously contains utilities that constitute illegal distribution of software. Thus, it’s against forum rules. Yes, you are indeed trying to answer zerobB's query; however, you could simply say COOLEDIT 2000 is not free and refer all participants within this thread to its legitimate site.

Thanks. The face of the RH10 is not shiny per se. Shiny is definitely the wrong word to describe the face of the RH10. The RH10’s face is somewhat translucent with a possible color metal-composite frame underneath. The reason why other pictures of RH10 seemed shiny is because the photographer did not employ proper filter to disperse light on the surface.

Negative on that... no omg plugin for now.

You can purchase an additional charging cradle for about $47.95 from Sony DAPC. The cradle unit's part number is 147847011. Please call Sony DAPC to confirm the part number before you conclude your transaction.

Since the damage relates only to the hinge/lid, the cost may not be as exorbitant as one would expect. It would be worthwhile to call your local Sony Service Center for a quote. Cheers, Ishii

Welcome to MDCF! Two possible solutions: 1) Try installing the official version of SonicStage 3.1 instead. (look it up within the pinned threads) Some users with similar hardware detection problem managed to resolve their problem by re-installing with the official version. 2) Most of the time, hardware detection problem occurs because the Sony Personal Audio Driver module did not properly install. So, you may want to try re-installing it. To re-install the module, first go to Run --> type regedit --> delete this tree: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Sony Corporation\Personal Audio Driver. Then install the Sony Personal Audio Driver module found in the download section of this forum. Finally reboot your PC. If the problem still persist, try installing the official version of SonicStage 3.1. Good luck.
