OK, so basically it just compiles a list of contents of the discs. Nice to see to MD community has such active program development.

Thanks for the input Volta. At the moment at least I don´t have a player with optical out so it looks like analog is the way to go for me. A family friend has a MZ-R37 which I think she doesn´t use at all, but even that only has a line-out connection, no optical out.

I looked around at a few, but I can´t remember the specific ones anymore. Never did buy from there though. You are lucky in having access to japanese merchendise in that way, Ishiyoshi. I should try to find someone I can trust who could mediate a product bought from a japanese e-tailer. I´m seriously looking to get a RH10, and the best way would be to get one from Japan. Those still carry english manuals and an english UI on the units, right?

I´m not sure I beleive you. Have you checked with every japanese e-tailer?

How is it different? The signal going to the headphones is a normal analog signal right? Just the other day I saw the first ever RH10 in a store in Helsinki. When I commented on the lack of a proper line-out the salesman equaled the headphone out-jack to an analog output and implied that I would be able to record through that. Is he completely off?

What about the sound quality when playing MP3´s? A lot of RH10 owners are quite unhappy about the bad MP3 playback on their units, is this an issue with the RH910 as well?

At all, no one? Are you sure? When I was going to buy a recorder about 5-6 years back there were etailers shipping internationally.

Well MD has seriously lost it´s status in some parts of the world, Europe and the states primarily. Here in Finland a lot of stores seem to be discontinuing selling Minidisc-equipment alltogether, which is a shame.

What does this program do? I´m not sure I understand the idea of a listing progra...

I was thinking I might order directly from a japanese web-store. I just need to find someone who knows japanese to help me place the order.

So how did you reliably place the order? Did your friend help?

Do you have any idea how much it would cost to ship to Europe, specifically Finland? Or could you try to find out? I´m interested in buying this.
