Dannii's style is more cutting edge. Kylie is Glam!

oh no- i think its dreadful! infact i hate it more than 66 and 64 kbs its only slightly better than 48kbs
-
take them off for the average joe (or alexx) they make no diffrence
-
I use 66kbs because its also longplay 4; i i use the retro thing a lot. I also really like it a lot mmore than 105 kbs. I think that 66kbps is actually FAR better than 105. I have never recorded a good track at 105. 105 is on a par with 48kbps. I use 64kbps a lot too for myself anf HiMD

This is a definative post to tell us about the benefits of upgrading from sonic stage 3.2 to 3.3 For example: what are the new bite rates Is it easy to use?
-
Does owning a Hi-MD portable makes your 'legacy' MD deck redundant?

WHY You are speaking blasphemy. My old MD unit is now used by my boyfriend after it stoped recording. My new MD is used to move MP3s to MD in LP4 ATRAC3 66 >> 64 But now two of us have MDs- its upsetting though because even with battery attachment: my RH10 gets less time than my old yin -
This is known as a *SIDECAR* again you refer to a side-car
-
This mite sound silly but- If you have an ATRAC3+ file that is at 352kbp then will an MD player (such as said RH10 ) work with it. Or does it have to be converted to a diffrent bitre rate- say 48Kbps Also I thought old ATRAC (TRUE SP, or 292kbs) was classed as lossless? Was I wrong? ( probally) Thanks u guys x
-
The rh10 only gets about 12 hours on a single AA rechargable. thats still better than an I-sh*t though

I cant believe she is 59- she's so beautiful

Quality comparison ATRAC3plus<-->Mp3?
Alexx replied to timonoj's topic in Technical, Tips, and Tricks
atrac 66 is better than atrac 105 -
i love the facts MD can be powered by AA, and the NiMH cells are way better than the trash the put in i-pods
-
IMO 66ATRAC is better than 105. how can 105 be SO poor?
-
Can i just ask if it would benefit you in anyway to use 2 smaller lithium batteries in parrallel?
-
Perhaps it would be better to connect a lithium battery to the power in point. its only point 6 or a volt over and it would be really light. and it would power the MD nicely

I just tested something out guys, and this may save a few steps. I took a 128kbps mp3, imported into my library. Right-clicked on the file and chose to convert the format to ATRAC3 132kbps. After converting, I deleted the file from my library (but not from computer). I then imported the ATRAC3 file for the track located in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\SonicStage\Packages\Optimized files. After you convert the file (before deleting it), it still shows as mp3 in my library... Right-click on the file, choose properties, and go to the tab "file info" to see that there are in fact 2 versions of the file. mp3 & atrac3. In other words, after you right-click the file and convert format, you have to delete the mp3 file from my library, and then import the atrac3 file in order to use it. OMG thank you so much It worked Oh you are a gem! *squeezes Raintheory very tightly*

I would just like to say that the "quick" mode actually uses LESS power in the short term than starting up the disk again! Also hi capacity NiMH cells hold more power than duracells or energizers! Infact the modern NiMH cell will actually hole more power than lithium cells. Lithiums only advantage is that it is light weight And for people who are new; the screw on dry cell compartment is known as a sidecar

how does one decode to wave
-
why wont sonic stage convert it for me? How do I make this happen as most things wont even change a 128 MP3 to a 192MP3 How do I chane it to a WAV and then back to 132ATRAC Or should i burn it to a RW-CD then save it back. over and over again......

I got my Hi-MD from the local sony store. I can say that i also tried comet: they only sell Net MDs. Currys and dixorns - sell only 1st generation hi-MD players
