I don't think its crashing as such! I think you computer might be stuggeling with a library that big! Well how many of these are on CD's? You should import them directly into SonicStage, all others I would add per album (Or group). but all together might cause problems. If you have the CD's you can always use MD Simple Burner. A really simple program that works alongside SonicStage (As in you need sonicstage installed to use it). http://forums.minidisc.org/downloads/details.php?file=93 (you will need to signup at forums.minidisc.org to download - but a good idea if you have a minidisc player, they are really good help!) Edit: If you manage to get everthing into sonicstage's libary try the optimizing the database. Tools > Options > Advanced Settings

Lossless in the connect store would be just crazy, think of the download times! 352kbps would be nice in the music store "hint hint sony" I have to agree AND WE NEED IT IN CANADA!!!! (yeh yeh yeh, I'm in england, but not for long in the process of immigration ect)

I don't know why it is crashing but what are your computer specs? I haven't had a problem with my minidisc player (Since SonicStage 2.0). The Hi-MD format isn't unstable, just the software isn't the best we all admit that, but its not bad and is pretty stable! goto www.minidisc.org and post of the forums you will get better answers for your problem. Instead of just taking the EASY way out! Good luck.

Thanks, I just got sonicstage to add album art to my entire (mp3) cd collection!

I tried to embed a album cover into "Westlife - Somebody Needs You.mp3" useing "MP3 Tag Tools" and the album art showed up on the psp. Does this mean the PSP supports embedded album art in mp3's? If it does that's GREAT news! http://massid3lib.sourceforge.net/ [MP3 Tag Tools] I just looked at another of my mp3's that was showing album art before when it was on my psp, but some reason WMP11 has tagged that track with album art, I didn't know WMP does that. I'm 99.99% certain it does now.

I'm useing that firmware and never had a problem with the image converter software. ??? Try useing mp4 codec there. I think the problem might lie in the source file? Do you have the VCD on dvd, you can rip it to psp usein dvd decripter and pspvideo9. (as probably will know). link

I think this is a sonicstage problem, I'm haveing this problem at this moment but with a sandisk 2GB card. And yet again it does transfer fine to my 32MB card!? *Goes to check on SonicStage* Oh it crashed! AHHHH (I'll dig out my dads cardreader, see if it works better with that) Edit: Sonicstage didn't recodnice it! Nothing new here!

Use the sonicstage backup tool and then use what you would normaly to the dvd-r. That way you don't have to worry about looseing your files to DRM.

I trust Sony WAY more than I trust other products. That's why, I'm following there decision about killing homebrew, I'm using 1.81 firmware! I would rather have a Sony laptop too, but this one was a gift! lol

WTF? Would sony drop atrac? I agree about the 64kbs files, even AAC I don't like asmuch as atrac.
