If you were still using 2.80 firmware there is a home-brew app for the Tiff exploit that will enable it without a wireless connection. I have a wireless connection, so I don't have that problem! http://dl.qj.net/Enable-Flash-and-WMA-(no-...10262/catid/140
-
ha, yeh. i know about those battery life's. but 60 or 80GB is kinda too big for what I need it for! Plus now I know 40 hours is possible, I feel like they aren't trying to give better battery life.
-
I don't care about any of these. ok size matters 30GB and a 60 (or 80) GB but the 1 thing I care about is BATTERY LIFE I so badly want a NW-HD5 because of this but you can't get them new anymore! That would be my ideal mp3 player. too bad the later Sony HHD are hard to get hold of in Canada and don't have as good power life. I would have got a iPod by now if it wasn't for there crappy battery life. ok the new nanos have 24Hours, but I have a flash player already (iAudio U2) I'm not really intrested in getting another one. The only audio players I would be intrested in are HDD.

you need flash enabled to run the only game on there at the moment. its flash tetris I think for that you do need a Internet connection via the psp (stupid I know). - same with wma playback. You only need one for about 3 seconds, so you probably could 'borrow' a local one! no its not 2.82, I have that firmware too! Settings > System Settings > Enable Flash Player
-
If you type in "file:/" before the location, It won't want to connect to the wireless netowork! Its ok about the questions, Its nice to see people looking at it, and it helps me give better descriptions. Edit: Remember they are '/'s NOT '\' my mistake.

Forget about the common folder then. Just put the files in the base directory of the psp (inside the "vapsp" folder) and type into the psp browser "file:\vapsp\index.htm" Obiously without the "s. lol
-
hehe, lol. I'll get onto that! I dunno really how to explain it, When you format a memory card on the psp itself (in the system settings) it will leave folders "common" is one of these. (Inside "psp")

I have uploaded version 0.02A, Still only 1 game, needs a lot of work still. I can't seem to load 50webs.org, so I'm going to find another server it seems to have a lot of downtime. enjoy feedback and suggestions greatly accepted. I changed the interface Compleatly.

Isn't there a tagging standard then?
-
thanks! Does anyone know why sony uses none-iTunes supported tags? Its really annoying!
-
lol, fake cards are still good 2GB (Or higher) storage. lol Thats bigger than my flash drive, just not usefull for the psp. (as much as a genuine one)
-
I read somewhere that they don't work. http://www.atraclife.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2524 Turned out to be a fake, but I wated too long to do anything about it now! lol If Sandisk will work I'm happy!
-
Whats the differences in battery consumption and quality between the 2? lol, I'm just installing SSCP4.2 and was thinking if via firmware updates they allowed HE-AAC on Sony devise (Hopefully with iTunes supported tags - iTunes can play those files right? No?) lol But what are the differences? lol (I started to drift)

I'm thinking of getting this http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetai...test%5Fcookie=1 a 2200mA PSP Battery. Basically, because I can't find a good Sony HDD player here in Canada, so I was thinking of getting that and a 4GB memory stick (can't find a Sony though, so can't put atrac on it) -Probably will end up getting a Sony 2GB But what are your experiences with the battery life of the psp with atrac3plus 64kbps playback? How long? With the default battery and the one I posted the link to! Thanks (How long is music playback reckoned to be anyway?)
-
128kbps would rock, lol just they would have to enable that for Hi-MD users. And any NetMD users would just convert to the nearest 132kbps, probably with minimal quality loss. Just noticed. ROFLWPMP

I have a site, http://vaporpsp.50webs.org/ the portal isn't up there, it is still in developement. Anyone have ideas on what I should add to the portal?
-
We need to remember not everyone had a broadband connection, and think of the download time!
-
Yeh, that just reminded me why I have like 40ish CD's! I haven't used connect store (besides 4 free tracks I received as a voucher a while back) But I come across alot of them, just I can't use them in canada.
-
no, but you can subscribe to the mailing list so you can be told when it does open!
-
Thanks for the responce! I guess when the 4GB cards come out I will have to try to get a sony one!
-
Its really good news for us people in canda! YAY SONY
-
Naa, you can put it anywhere you like, lol just the common folder is already there when you format the card on the psp. If it isn't just put it in any folder, but remember the location of the index.htm file and put file:\ in front of the location (instead of the drive letter)
-
I really like that last one! lol good job.
-
Theres a bookmark option in the web browser (the heart shaped icon when you hit 'triangle') And no it runs off a memory card you don't need a internet connection.

I'm working on a portal for the psp web browser, Attached is what I have upto now, I need to work on a website and such still. There is 1 flash game at the moment and 2 links! Yeh its small. (Still no read me either) I am posting this topic to ask what should I include in the portal? (To use unzip the file into your memory stick in the PSP/COMMON/ folder and type in the browser file:/PSP/COMMON/vapsp/index.htm and bookmark it! thanks. (enjoy) Edit: Oh yeh, psp firmware 2.71 or higher (I think) needed to run it, I am useing the latest firmware. Edit: I have a website for it now! http://vaporpsp.50webs.org/ Version 0.02A out 14/11/06
