Careful, many of the Gumstick batteries off eBay are counterfeit. They are FAKE despite the packaging looking authentic and all. They are not Sony but rather made in factores in China that imitate stuff. It seems all of you with these issues have aquired FAKE batteries. If you get weak battery life on a new 14WM, weaker than your old 1000mah 9WM battery you have a FAKE. If the battery swells up/inflates you also have a FAKE. Moral of the story, DO NOT buy batteries or Memory Sticks off of eBay especially if the seller is located in China or Hong Kong.

I don't know, but that's what Minidisc Canada says about the M100: "Similar to the MZ-RH10 Hi-MD Recorder but but has an extended life battery, and the ability to upload PCM mic recordings to a Mac with the included software." So basiclly it seems like an updated version (but cosmeticly similar) of the RH10 but with Mac uploads and extended battery life. http://www.minidisc-canada.com/shopdisplay...iniDisc+Players Edit: Comparing the specs, seems to be only one additional hour of playback (33 hours on the M100 vs 32), but hey it's better than nothing and I sure could use the included Mic.

Too make a long story short I lost my black RH10 a little over a year ago. It was purchased for me by a relative while in Japan. Anyways, since I miss it, I'm planning now on maybe getting a new unit, maybe the newer M100, especially to take advantage of its better battery life. Since I obviously didn't lose the cradle since that was safe at home, I was wondering if the RH10 cradle is compatible with the M100. And if it was it would be SO perfect since the RH10 model I got was black and hence a black cradle. And since the M100 is black too, it would be SO perfect if it works. Also, thankfully I wasn't using the supplied black LCD remote that came with the RH10 the day I lost it. Since I have it will it work on the M100 instead of the supplied LCDless remote, backlight and all buttons? Infact the only thing I lost other than the actual unit was the supplied carrying pouch. Does the M100 also come with a carrying pouch? Thanks,

Get rid of *^$*&^ Sony Music/Pictures. If Sony never brought Columbia way back when they woukd be where Apple is now with the iPod. We know that Apple makes all there money off hardware and hardly any off the music store. Get rid of Sony Entertainment, please!!!

Hey Sefu, so, you mentioned that EMS is really strict in exports right now, but that airmail may be a way to ship the batteries for those who have already ordered. So, couldn't you just ship the entire unit via airmail, for those who are willing to wait a little longer, to avoid the EMS red tape? I'd really appreciate if you could look into this option. Adaptor doesn't way that much vs the whole package, wont make a difference, not worth having your product opened up and unsealed to take it out. Iw would be great to offer an airmail option.

So, is it confirmed that the NH1s adaptor is locked in at 240V? Or is there a chance it's 100-240V?

I want to order an NH1 and I'm from Canada but two problems. First, it isn't deducting the Australian GST. Second problem is $72AU for shipping by EMS? Comparing Audiocubes which also uses EMS and is in Japan, not that much closer than Australia from Canada cost $15US for an NH1 also. Still cheaper but what's up with the inflated shipping?
