Cannonball Adderley does some amazing straight songs/standadrs - definately talented - i have a few of his vinyls i transformed - i am listening to my remixes of Jethro Tull - just the instumental parts and nooks that i took out of his vocal songs - yous guys wouldn't understand - but it's great - even taking a great "one Beat loop" and looping it 32 times can create a mood swing -

ok;; soooo;; i sold my wife's electric piano that i bought her - that she was not using - and bought a Boss BR600 Digital Recorder with built in Rhythm patterns and a set of Drum Pads!!!! well she has her real piano and MY almost identical piano/keyboard to play on - it was sitting in da closet and i wanted money to buy a bling bling - sing after me - Rayzray is Cool!!

listening to an AWESOME local band that i heard yesterday called Pen-Epic (high schoold kids ;;well one college one too ;; and the drummer just out of boot camp - they are a mixture or Dave Matthews and Average White Band ;; IMO ;; very very jazz oriented funk and IMO very complicated rhythms ;; enough even to complicate YOUR minds ;; yet very simplistic bluesy lyrics on the songs THEY write.. oh their father (an inactive member of the T_Board i met a few years ago was recording them with his Standard MD unit (WHICH FAILED!!!!).. he e-mailed me and asked IF i (rayzray) recorded the concert with my HI-MD900 ;; which i DID ;; came out pretty good concidering the location i (rayzray) was at and the wind factor ;; the bass was too loud ;; the sax too low ;; the sound man just was not doing his job (never wore headphones ;; not once)!!!! so i stayed up all night making them a "Raw" CD and an ediied one which i must say (rayzray rules ;; i am a master of blaster caster ;; factor i LOVE their covers of Herbie Hancock - Phish - Doobie Bros - Greatful Deal - Jimi Hemdrix - oh and Dave Matthews AND their own lyric twisting songs with LOOOOOONG cool solos in odd modes - well i ranted enough - too bad yous guys will probably miss them - but it take something great to rake my gate - and yesterday fate was my mate and i (rayzray) won

listening and watching and recording onto a Sony MD Deck - portions of music by all the major keyboardists EVER - and you can see their hands/fingers actually play their riffs of a Moog synth;; all kinds of synths - this should be a great audio treat for the week -

yes;; ok;; i used to look at a magazine of EXPENSIVE audio bling blings when i used to take one of my Piano students to her foot therapy after her lesson - i should have stolen da magazine; i was the only one who looked at it;; the cheapest component was about $5,000;; but;; this one takes the cake;; it probably will not skip during an earthquake!!

good day for shopping yesterday - but - the highlite was when my wife MADE me buy a "Tom Tom" GPS on sale for $199.99 USD - she says that my rants about being a "Life" Boy scout and never getting lost as long as i can see the sun and feel da trees thinggy is wearing out - she is tired of me NOT getting lost but finding every place she wants to go 2 hours later - so i gets this thing going and told it to find the way to my daughter's house - which it took the LONG way - then i went AGAINST it "Commands" to get home - and it took a fit - as i was turning onto MY street - it was yelling (nagging ) at me to "turn arund" ( it was trying to get me back to my daughter's house so i can go the (RIGHT WAY)!!!! i also bought 15 Nexlex DVD+DL's and they worked much better than the TOMTOM

A generic CD called "Director's Dance Cuts" - i LOVE is almost as much as i Love myself - mostly all synth repro-duck-tions - 1.. Terminator 2 (Judgement Day) 2.. 007 (with looped vocal stabs) ((maybe from a movie)) sounds like "THE" guy 3.. THe Chase 4.. Crockett's THeme 5.. Assault on Precinct 13 6.. Blade Runner 7.. Chariots of Fire 8.. Axel F 9. Tubular Bells 10..The EVe of the War 11..Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence 12..Das Boot (scoot and all))

yeah ;; Pete IS right-- we all have our ups and downs-- i (rayzray) am KING or ups and downs-- frowns and smiles;; styles and bordum.. you would be missed on this board;; at least i would miss you ;; more than anything in this whole world;; i ()rayzray) am a "Musician";; then Music/audio;; then elec bling blings (outdated ones) but;; tested ones.. only time will tell MY destiny;; let's hope time is stretched to the limit for u.. measure me (rayzray) in inches;; measure u in yards;; no miles..

i was searching for some kind of "Graphic" software to add to PC#1 (of 3) so i can add that (layer) to my DVD projects and lo-and be-ho;; i came across this:: "Face Dough" (Metamorphasizing Madness) by Greenstreet Digital ($9.99) it says i can take any PHOTO OR pHOTOES (or disign i make);;and "distort" them in realtime - animated morphing mayhem.. i will install it tonight (tomorrow morning) that is;; and play with it.. all i want to do is make a "Logo" with some colourful designs and my name and wave it around;;; stretch it fragg it and spagg it;; and such;; and layer that with other graphin images i have (i have tons of them);; even a heard of Meekats..)

i've been to Guitar Center twice to buy this and i chicken out - the sales ppl just take too long to approach me - and i walk away - too bad it don't have an optical out - that's the only worry i have - or- should i have another worry - it is battery operated to record amywhers with the build in mics - ()

You are so right,, Gutarfxr,, Blues IS a "State of Mind";; and i (rayzray) KNOWS izz GOT IT too.. i have been told by MANY blues ppl;; Black and White that i CAN really play the Blues great;; i had the touch.. i have always enjoyed the bands i put together with black drummers;; or horn players.. we just got along great;; augmented each other.. sometimes i used to wish i was Black;; i would have "Made It " in this business;; but being white and from RI;; destiny chose me to stay close to my family.. especially my sick father.. i watched that "Clip" on Satin and Adam an totally enjoyed it;; i AM kinda like him;; them;; us;; even The God of Blues.. i bookmarked it and will visit fore of them;; probably transfer them to a single DVD and cherish it the rest of my short life.. ironically;; i keep telling my THIRD wife;; IF she ever leaves me;; i WILL go to Miami or Texas or New Mexico or Mexico and live out my final years living in a "Cardboard Box" and playing the blues on a little keyboard.. that would be my final wish;; and,, my family would be welcomed to come and visit me and bring me sugar free blueberry pies;; EVEN MY "X's".. it's too bad ,,Guitarfxr" that you weren't born 30 or 40 years earlier;; WE would have made an awesome blues duo;; i can feel that;; but;; it IS my (rayzray's) nature to alienate everyone that gets too close to me;; and i walk away;; i prefer a constant change in EVERYTHING;; and always learn something new.. yes,, like my piano students all seem to tell me is:: "Mr Lamberto",, you can be such a JERK sometimes.. ps:: did i stay OT;; was i a good boy??

i recorded this thing on VH1 called Rattle and Hum by U2 (while i was giving a piano lesson) and once in a while i would put up the volume and check it out with my student (she thought it sucked) - and i tought of did too - today i decided to PUT it- edited -onto a DVD and give it an honest listen (while i was taking a nap) - it kept my interest up - even the fweakin dialogue inbetween and in the songs - and i must say i am LOVIN it- still listineng - i was amazed when BB king says to U2 (Bono) - i don't know what to do in this song you wrote for me - I DON"T PLAY CHORDS - I SUCK AT CHORDS !!!! this is BB THE KING!!!! he doesn't know how to play chords !!!! wtf !!!! he just rants his "Blues Notes" while the others in da band do "The Chords" - Bono says "there are only TWO chords in the song - BB balks and walks - wtf - i am LISTENING to history here and gee - all the years i thought i SUCKED at certain things in music and did other things instead;; i was RIGHT all the time - ME (rayzray) and BB know the flow..

Lang from the Happy Feet Soundtrack - put it into my Sony 505 and starting to "devide" it into sections for a piano lesson tonight - i admit i like the song and listened to it a couple of time before cutting it to shreads - some covers are just done well and with justice to the original -

DVD Movie Game ((on sale for $21 at Wal-Mart)) ;; NOT for the Game itself but for all the "Movie Clips" it must have that i can use as backgrounds and layers in my DVD Video Quest to conquor the world in 80 clips (how the heck do u spell conquor?? is there a movie in this box with that word in it?? ok;; i MAY let the family and grandkids play the game if i am the ONLY one to "touch" the discs!! one of my student's parents just got this and it makes NOISE;; i said it was Dead;; they are giving it to me;; i did offer to buy it for $20.. ( ) i supposed to pick it up today;; LOL:: "Pick-It-Up" it MAY only need oiling;; but the KIDS were playing it for days;; may have ruined it.. i will either:: 1.. try to oil it and fix it;; 2.. take it apart and SEE How hammonds worked (i kinda know how - but cant's resist taking things apart).. 3.. Give it to someone who can have it fixed and use it (like my Brother-in-Law) 4.. put it out with the garbage and watch them TRY to put it in the Garbage truck..

just bought a controller and a connecting chord for a Playstation 2 game my piano student (8 yr old boy) gave me !!!! i can't get the stupid game to play !! i can get ANY 4 year old kid off the street or one of my grandkids that's 4 years old at least to show me;; can't i??!! i want to drive that sweaking car sooooo bad!!

YEAH;;!! THE MOST useless WEBSITE in the world;; i can't click on to the ones i am interested in;; like Sony and Digital inovations;; whoever put that site together is NOT an Audio guy/gal.. they have such a great array of electronic bling blings ON the floor;; TWO floors of it;; including a big DJ room.. all the HD TV's and security equipment;; monitors;; heat shrink tubes of ALL sizes;; splitters;; combiners;; cables;; wireless this and that;; spy equipment;; and not so spy equipment.. electronic do it yourselves kits for ALL ages;; even little kids;; big kids;; old men;; and bold men;; soul men and cold men;; i think even for "THIS OLD" man.. i can't come out of that place without a bag of something;; ALL the area "Regional" electronic servicemen get thier supplies there;; there is always one to ask a question to;; i even think they have stuff i don't know what it's for;; perhaps a door or more..

this place near Boston (Needam,Mass);; called "You-Do-It";; the Web site is INSANE;; i can't figure it out;; but,, then;; i'm ME (rayzray).. that's the place i bought the Pioneer DVJ-1000 A/V turntable;; it's an Electronic Candy Store-- well originally a wholesale place i think ;; then You-Do-it;; then They_did_it etc.. i originally discovered it about 20 years ago when i used to take my ARP synthesizer to be fixed right at the Arp Manufacturer the whole area is an Electrnic conglomerate;; the CENTER of all the Military Secret stuff;; and where Enolu went to college.. i wouldn't be surprized if there were other Electronic stores there;; i know they have the Big allegator at Braintree mall;; which i think is a Government "spy" with a camera down it's throat..

just bought another 5 DVD-Rams;; so i have approx 70 plus DVD-Rams to record on my 22 Pana DVD recorders plus yesterday i bought another 100 DVD-R blanks;; i can't fit them in da closet anymore!! i can put about 200 behind da towels under the bathroom sink - unnoticed.. but would the steam in da Bathroom hurt them??

ironically,, i got a warning/almost citation for doing a sound check on the BOSTON common at around 8:00 AM in the morning during a week day,, i think;; it was sooooo long age;; i was playing my ONE-MAN-BAND thinggy with my synths for the first Cancer Marathon there and thought i need to make sure the runners would hear me at least to the end of the Common.. the police said they were getting complaints about 5 blocks down;; forgot what i was playing;; probably Green Onions and Booker T stuff.. right now i am listening to Heaven and Hell (Dio) concert i recorded on DVD last night in my headset (not to wake up my wife);; and it just rocks.. i am putting it onto CD now on it's way to my Hi-MD#1!! ((now,, this IS the Blue" isn't it?? not the "Yellow"))??

i used to LOVE to play Days of Wine & Roses on the piano Keyboards in da lounges;; tough one to sing;; didn't Ancy Williams sing it;; i can't go that high but playing it with some of those altered chords like the chord on the word "Roses" just sends chills down my spine;; those were the days (i used to love to see my "Tip Jar" fill up;; i finally had to get a little Fish Bowl;; lol..!! late edit]] oh right now i am listening to songs from High School Musical 2 i am remixing for my LITTLE piano students!!
