  1. i have 2 mz-n510 units. both of them are awesome! they work perfect! i was wondering if your using an old computer? maybe you caould try to convert the songs first then transfer them all at once after you convert them. i was also wondering what sonic stage version you are using? if its not at least version 2.3 then upgrade to version 4.0 from this website. how fast is your computer?

  2. actaully i really loke atrac type R. i think its the best if your going to record compressed. pcm is not necessary for me. i would really like to get another deck. thanks for your help. i wish damn sony would release a hi-md deck. i would buy a hi-md then!! untill then its old sp for me.

  3. i have a old md-jes510 deck that i recorded some music on. the hi end sounded more like 256k mp3. i decided to try it again on my old mz-n510 walkman. both weree done through the digital input. has anyone noticed how much better type R recording is? i was also wondering what version of atrac the old 510 deck uses? does any one know? have anyone else been able to hear the differences between the old SP standard atrac versions?

  4. I also have a RH1 and I can confirm that it plays the tracks in shuffle mode repeatedly. The only recorder that plays tracks in shuffle mode only once is the NH1.

    Cheers

i have a 2003 model net md mz-n510 that does the shuffle like you said playing each song only one time unless you put it on repeat. i love the feature its awesome and very hard to find on any type of unit.

  5. so you are saying windows defragmenter is wrong? i find that hard to believe. why does it do that? when i hook up my sony digital camera and run the defrag program it does not do that...i know there is no reason to defrag a memory card. that would be stupid but its just an example...

  6. THAT is a funny question because there will ALWAYS be md units! millions have been made! there will always be repaired or refirbuished units available. i am 33 years old and expect i will be able to find them somewhere for at least the next 40 years. the best part is you dont need sonic stage or a computer to use most of them. i have 200+ disks. i will keep them forever! LONG LIVE MD!

  7. it is especially important for ppl that recorded a lot of their (or of others') CD's to NetMD using SB as they now can get those tracks back without going back to the CD

so interesting as it was sometthing claimed to be imposiible, but only useful for very little ppl I guess

its because you can edit tracks on an mdlp unit that are made with simple burner but not tracks made with sonicstage...
