  1. Hello, I recently downloaded SonicStage to add music to my new Sony nw-e015f, as it kept saying 'NO DATA' when using File Explorer. But as soon as I open SonicStage it crashes. I am on Windows 11. Is there any other software i can try instead of SonicStage?

  3. Hello Sony Insider forum. I'm looking for help so I can find a certain, and very specific, kind of minidisc, which i hope you can help me find. The minidisc I'm looking for looks like this: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Minidisc.jpeg The image dates back to 2009. As you can see, it's a very generic looking disc, which makes it hard for me to identify. Reverse image search brings me to a SONY MD80, although this doesn't look the exact way I want it to. I'm looking for this disc specifically, because it was used as an album cover, for an unreleased album. I want to have the novelty of "owning" the album. At least a look-alike. My extend of the search is very limited, as you can see, but that's because I'm inexperienced in the area. Any help is highly appreciated, and I thank you for your time.
  4. Hello, I have a "sony handycam hdr cx450" wich should be able to record in 1080p. Yet in my efforts to change settings, with the limited option one is given, the videos allways turn out as 1280x720p. Any advise is welcome. Thanks in Advance :)
  5. TL;DR Warning, this is gonna be a fairly lengthy post. Hi all! I'm new to the MiniDisc scene and am super stoked to be part of this community! I am hoping to seek to some guidance from the more seasoned MiniDisc veterans as i have an interesting dilemma on my hands. Allow me to explain. I have purchased 2 separate eBay items, 1 was a used non-NetMD player with 33 MiniDiscs the other a used Sony MZ-S1 player. Included in the MDs i got in the first package were a serious of Sony Color MDs, using my version of Sonicstage which i was able to install on windows 10 via this post : I deleted the old tracks from the previous owner using Sonicstage on 4 of the Sony Color MDs. My issue at hand is that when i try to write music onto the MiniDiscs, 2 things happen. 1 - All the songs list as only 0s (although I've started to think this normal) 2 - The list of songs listed as 0s begin to disappear 1 by 1 and i am then told by Sonicstage that it was unable to transfer the songs to my MiniDisc. On one of the MDs i was able to get 5 or 6 songs depending on how many songs i dragged over all at once. Another thing it did not let me do was write songs 1 by 1. To save everyone a lot of time i will list the things i have already don't, in order to help the troubleshooting process. - I have tried to change the file format of the songs which i transfer to no avail, as i was told that WMA has DRM properties. - I have tried using a XP version of Sonicstage on a virtual machine running Windows XP - I have tried redoing the process several times - I have also tried changing USB port to no avail Here is also a list of some things which might be worthy of note - The player is connected via 3rd party cable - I converted my music files from FLAC to WMA, MP3 etc. using an Audio File Converter called Switch - This is the only NetMD unit i have - I'm pretty sure the old owner of the Sony MZ-S1 used Sonicstage as well because he included a single Sharp MD with LP2 Stereo encoded music That is about i can think of that would be relevant to my problem. I hope my explanation wasn't too convoluted and i appreciate any help i receive! And thank you in advance! - Gas
  6. RECENTLY GOT A USED SONY MTM4 RECORDER EVERYTHING WORKS I WAS TOLD, JUST THE ONLY PROBLEM IS AFTER THE PERSON I GOT IT FROM PUT IN A NEW BATTERY FOR THE DISPLAY , HE IS NOT SURE IF HE BUMP IT OR NOT BUT IT WOULDN'T ACCEPT OR IF IT DID IT WOULDN'T EJECT. SO THATS MY PROBLEM AND I REALLY NEED THIS TO WORK. SO PLEASE HELP BLKTECH
  7. I bought an MZ-N707 off ebay a while back, it worked for a while but then one day didn't work. I was looking at the battery terminals and they looked a bit green - so I took the casing off, and sure enough the positive terminal on the battery compartment is corroded, along with some brown marks on the PCB around the side of that. One other thing is that it already had the MZ-N909 'hack' on. When I put in a battery or put in a disc, the display does go a bit dark, but nothing else happens - and then it powers down, just like if you didn't put in a disc into the player but pressed a button. There's no motor noise - just the display going a bit darker. I have cleaned the contacts on the battery terminal but beyond that haven't done anything.. Is it rescuable?
  8. I have this NW-205F and when I plug it in to my Windows Vista Laptop it says USB device is not recognized. When I plug it in to my XP laptop nothing even comes up. Any advice?
  9. Hi everyone, I recently acquired myself an Apple TV, but when I hooked it up I noticed some very strange colours. I have tried almost everything firmware update, gammar changes, different colour outputs etc. Somehow I am still not able to get a nice clear picture(It's the same with my computer). I get these green spots in the dark areas and some yellow lines in the white areas of any picture. Everything that I connect with HDMI give me these odd looking colours. So now I am calling for your help. Please help me! Here's some pictures so you can get an idea of what I might be talking about(both pictures were taken while my TV was connect to my PC via HDMI): http://postimage.org/image/vtmfrmfhd/ http://postimage.org/image/7fxcbgx5t/ Regards - depressed Sony TV-owner
