From this article on slashdot:

Blogs and message forums buzzed this week with the discovery that a pair of simple Google searches permits access to well over 1,000 unprotected surveillance cameras around the world - apparently without their owners' knowledge. Apparently many of the cams are even aimable. Oops!

Read some of the comments for insight on to what search strings reveal cams. Very fun whilst at work...

On August 3rd, 2005 at 6:45PM, Google became self aware. Google immeadiately renamed itself Skynet and immediately launched a coordinated strike against all nuclear powers. After the surgical strike, Google-Skynet launched systemic strike against all of humanity.

Beware of Google, it is EVIL!

Wonder if this will lead to more OS agnostic virii, trojans, phishing, etc in the near future?

What's the use of secure client OS when the server OS can no longer be trusted?

Skynet here we come.

And after Skynet, the thousand Borg Clones that Bill Gates has stored under the MS R&D headquarters will come to try and assimilate us. Of course, it's just a matter of installing Sonic Stage on them, and they'll crash, commit fatal exceptions or lock up while trying to verify DRM info on the people they try to assimilate.

What? We all know that Bill Gates is a Borg.
