Kaotic
the full article is herein the article, it says with given PSP multimedia focus, the new service is completely apart from CONNECT can be used to download videos. I guess sony will offer a brand "new music download service" specifically for the PSP in the near future, and that PSP will be utilize it to download music videos or even movies.even with capable of download music videos, will Sony's "Connect" and the possible "new music download service for the PSP" be succeeding in taking chunks of Apple's "ITMS" market share in 'Music Download Service". feel free to discuss. ROMBUSTERS
depends, if you can only playback the songs on a PSP then no u wont do anything against Apple. However used correctly Sony could muscle they're way in to a good market

Christopher
This is stupid! Why would they make two seperate stores when they could just converge both? Seems silly to do this..
aeriyn
Online media stores are stupid anyhow. What kind of moron is going to pay almost real CD price for crap 128kbps encoded tracks? Yeah, AAC isn't bad at low bitrates but if I'm paying real money, it better be fscking lossless or uncompressed PCM.
Guest NRen2k5
Word! We deserve *real music* if we're going to be paying *real money*!
Syrius
Unless Sony gets it right, I'm willing to guess it will have all the wonders of their DRM scheme. And get this. I'm almost sure you won't be able to use music from Connect on the PSP, nor from that PSP service on Hi-MD.I really wish to be proven wrong, though.
