hayduke
so nowhere around here stocks the 1GB Hi-MD discs. i see them on ebay but does anyone have any input?thanks!
daremo
The only place I've seen HiMD discs for sale is the internet. Bestbuy.com carries them, Radioshack.com carries them, and of course minidisco.com has them too. I know you can order them at a local Radioshack and then pick them up, but it would be nice to just walk into Bestbuy and grab a pack of them. StingerDL
My local Compusa seems to have them in stock often, I picked up 4 the other day. $7 each.
Christopher
How many did they have, Stinger? And I must repeat the Minidisco recommendation. They have thousands in stock, you really cannot go wrong. It's the only place where I get mine.
craftech
I ordered them from Crutchfield using the link here for free shipping:http://dealcoupon.com/merchants/crutchfield.htmlI bought 5 of them. horace
HiA quick warning regarding the packes of three HiMd discs some shops sell - they are in fact standard 80 minute discs with a HiMd logo. I dare say that the ones you are likey to get for $10 will be these.A rather cheap ploy by Sony if you ask me....... MartinBTW, I bought five 1 GB discs from ebay seller 'minidisc au' for about £22.50 (including postage). They arrived in six days (not bad considering I live in the UK and they were sent from Australia).
roguefan99
The discs are pretty easy to find in Australia, I pick mine up for AU$9 a disc (same price as minidisc au), at a place called JB Hi-Fi, I dont think they have an online store (they arent good at organisation). I'm quite suprised they are hard to find over in the US
StingerDL
Compusa had about 5 or 6 when i was there. Just check their site for HMD-1G and check to see if it is in stock at your local store.
aharden
I couldn't find any 1GB discs locally, and the best deal (including shipping) from a reputable site I found was at B&H. I bought a quantity of five and received them in a 5-pack box. Item Link

reefbeef
I've had two good transactions with etronics.com. The order shipped fast and if you need anything else (last time I ordered a 10 pack HiMD blanks and a pair of Sony Fontopia headphones) they usually have it at a slightly lower price than others. They are based in Brooklyn NYC.
