Guest tony wong
why dual disc? it is said to be dvd on one side, cd on the other side.....but.... (yes, both dvd and cd on one discI have this primary doubt : "how am I gonna to hold this dual disc?")
Fast Eddie
The same way you hold other dual sided discs?
Bananatree
I suggest holding out on this release, as DVD and CD player manufacturers have reported defaults in their players with these new discs.Sadly this was a razzle dazzle idea that isn't going to last long. Syrius
Besides, I don't care if J-Lo, or whatever she's calling herself now, records her music on a diamond-coated Laserdisc, or a platinum cast MD. I just won't listen to her. I think I'll get to AllofMp3.com and get some Fool's Garden or Amber.
aeriyn
DualDisc is thicker than conventional CDs or DVDs and can cause problems on many players. My Cambridge CD player refused to open the tray with a DualDisc inside it and I was forced to take the cover off and remove the CD from the transport manually. atrain
what was the disk? doesn't sound worth it to you at all.i guess with an md you could use a pcdp to record to md. i say pcdp because many have an inordinate amount of space above the playing disk, enough in my g/f's dej621 to keep two diskson the spindle above one playing. kinda silly anyway.anyway what was the cd again? cause i've yet to come across one
Bananatree
It's called a "Dual Disc" Apparently j.Lo has just released a album on this format and NIN just released a 10 year anniversary of "The Downward Spiral" on it as well. Syrius
^^^ And meanwhile on a forest far away from here, a tree falls with no one around to hear it.
streaml1ne
Don't bother with this Dual-Disc crap, either get a high resolution format (SACD/DVD-A) if one is released, or stick with a conventional CD. Honestly though, J.Lo doesn't exactly strike me as an artist worth a high resolution recording

Mikami
why dual disc? it is said to be dvd on one side, cd on the other side.....but.... (yes, both dvd and cd on one discI have this primary doubt : "how am I gonna to hold this dual disc?")← I think I would end up scratching a dual disc! I have enough trouble with normal CD's. What happens when the CD case breaks? Where could I lay a disc while I look for a new disc case, if the disc was double sided? Not ganna buy it, Mikami
Christopher
Shouldn't the thread title be, "Jennifer Lopez is slumping further down the spiral with "dual disc"".
