Hi.

I need it for recording live mainly then downloading to PC etc.

N910 is a nice unit; it was the hi-end recorder to immediately follow the 10th anniversary edition n10. Perhaps you meant to say transfer rather than download to pc because a recording made on the 910 cannot be put into your 600 and then downloaded to the computer...it can be played in real time and recorded via your soundcard.

It does not have a remote but I have a remote for my Sony MZ-NH600D would it work with the N910?

Thanks

you should plug the remote in and try...no harm will come to it if it isn't compatible.

Thanks Bland10000

I was actually thinking of transferring (Not d/loading - too much computer in my brain) it from the 910 to the pc then transferring it via usb to the 600D.

My 910 arrives Monday so will give it a shot if it won't hurt it!

Thanks again

I believe the remote supplied with the 600D is the RMC-21, which, if memory serves me correctly, is the same remote supplied with the N510. Since the N510 and N910 are both in the same generation of NetMD units, the remote should function fine.

The N910 comes with a backlit LCD remote (33EL or 35ELK) no?

EDIT: Also I hasten to point out that recording your MD tracks onto computer from your N910, and then transferring to the NH600d will incur a further quality loss, unless of course, you use linear PCM on the HiMD. Note that SP mode is compressed to begin with.
