sebastianbf
hii own a pair of sony ex71s . I bought them 3 weeks ago. When I'm listening to all kind of music in my minidisc, I "think" that the left side of the eaphone sounds louder than the right side. Is this possible that one side of my earphones sounds louder than the other? Or maybe I'm deft? I have tried with several recordings made via optical, analog , etc. Please I need your help .ThanksSebastian
greenmachine
Put the left one into your right ear and vice versa. If it's going to be louder on the right side, the earphones (or your player) is/are faulty, if it's still louder on the left, you should consult a doctor. atrain
i concur with green machine. you also have tried enough music to check that it's not just stereo separation?
Bananatree
Poorly made recordings, difference in your ears and paranoia can lead to all these things
L7R
You are not getting mad. There are lot of defective EX71's on the markets. I have bought a pair and they lasted exactly 2 weeks. After one week left(or right?) side faded considerably, then after week 2 it totally died. Edited July 26, 2005 by L7R
KJ_Palmer
Deaf, actually. Cleaning/de-waxing your ears or earbuds may also help...

sebastianbf
it was just paranoia. yesterday I recorded a lot of songs in mono. Both sides sounds the same. Thanks everybody for your help.Sebastianps: KJ: of course my ears are clean. no need to de-wax them. hahahaha
KJ_Palmer
Well, you wouldn't believe (or want to know about) the amount of gunk I scrape out of my ears on a regular basis... Using some earwax drops isn't a bad idea in any case... Anyway, glad you sorted it out, Sebastian!...
sony_man
for some reason, one side didnt even fit! so noe side lacked bass and isolation while the side that fit did everything. i only hear a difference in volume between my ears when at low volume though,
