Hello guys

I read a post a week ago where a guy told that he can view how many hours of playback were left in battery using his Mznh1 and the Rmmc40elk remote. My question is: If I use the rm-mc40elk with my mz-nh900 , would be possible to view hours left in battery with the rm-mc40elk?

oh one more thing: Please if someone knows rm-mc40elk sellers, leave the info. Thanks

Yeah, I would quite like one of these but couldn't find anywhere that sells them in the UK.

Just get it from audiocubes and be done with it:

I don´t think that depends on the remote, it depends on the battery. With Ni-MH batteries the remaining playback time won´t show up in any remote, with Li-ion batteries it will show up on the RM-MC40ELK as well as on the 35ELK when they are connected to my EH1. I believe that´s the same for all models from the first gen.

It is unit dependent. It will only work on the EH1 and NH1 (haven't tried it with the DH10P yet - although it doesn't show up with the RM-MC35ELK in this unit) but can confirm it definitely doesn't work with the NH900.

And the EH1 and NH1 both use Li-ion batteries, right? My digital camera also uses a Li-ion and can show me the exact ramaining minutes for battery life, so I assume that this function only works with Li-ions. But I can´t tell which units exactly have this feature!

I think you're right, but this doesn't mean that all Li-ion battery powered units have it enabled. The DH10P has the same battery as the EH1 and NH1, but I don't think it will work on this unit - although I must test with the RM-MC40ELK.

Interestingly the DH10P will show you the date of the track (or album) based on the properties in SS (maybe the RH10 does this as well I don't know)
