bland10000
I purchased an rh10 this evening and made my first line-in recording. I plugged the recorder into simple-burner so I could name the disc and track. I did that but when I checked the unit display after unplugging from the computer the track name and title did not appear when the song was playing. I played around in the option menu with "display" and now the song title shows up as a folder. How do I get songs I have titled in simple-burner to show up as song titles rather than folders? For such operations I usually use Sonic Stage. I connect the unit, then title the individual tracks in the "Transfer" window on the unit itself. If I want to create groups again you can do this in the Transfer window via a right-click and then select and drag tracks into the group you created. You should also be able to enter the Album via the properties of the track, again by right-clicking a track in the transfer window and editing this way.PS: Congrats on the purchase - saw the picture ;-) Edited November 15, 2005 by richyhu
bland10000
I want to avoid creating groups. I put a second song on the disc and the same thing happened, a folder was created. I got into the disc via SS and then opened the folder and clicked on the song. I right clicked and moved the song up a level. This did the trick but I want to avoid having to do this for the rest of the disc.

If you go into the menu then into Rec Settings - there is an option called "Group REC". Set this to off. This will stop the automatic creation of groups. You can then still title individual tracks via SS or Simple Burner. Edited November 15, 2005 by richyhu
