Sparda
How would the psp's sound quality be compared to the mz-nh1, or to be more direct does the psp support the digital hd amp. If not what does the psp use for its sound amp? I thought maybe i could play my music on the psp than on a minidisc recorder since the psp is like a portable media center. maxthrusters
Music on my NH1 sounds better than on my PSP or any other music toy I have. Mind you, I encode music on my PSP at ATRAC3plus 96kbbs so I don't expect it to sound like 256kbbs
Herri
I suggest that you load a track encoded with ATRAC3plus 256kbps on both devices and compare the difference.

Sparda
The PSP supports 320kb/s atracplus, so are they going to be firmware updates for minidiscs? Or maybe if there are future units, maybe they will support 320 kb/s atracplus. I like to see that happen.

Hi-MD players do support 352 Kbps though, by using the latest version of Sonicstage (3.3)
