ZosoIV
Well, I finally broke down - after two years of resisting, I finally purchased a silver MZ-NH1 on eBay! Being that my legacy discs are used with my decks, which will soon include a new JB-940 (also recently obtained for pretty cheap on eBay), I’d like to purchase some 1GB blanks before the recorder gets here. So, what's the consensus on who has the cheapest Hi-MD discs? eBay has 5-packs for 24 USD, plus about $8 shipping, which seems to be the best deal I've found so far. Am I correct? taper420
i bought bulk to get a discount and I've been selling them on ebay for around $6 after shipping...factoring the cost of ebay I'm hardly making any money, even with the best bulk discount you can't get them below $5 a disc
WaywardTraveller
I still say the best price is in Australia, where they're AUD4.25 from minidisc-australia.com Barring that, here at a Canadian FutureChop or BestLie they're about CAD10-11...Minidisc Canada seems to have the best prices, although has anyone in Toronto checked at Pacific Mall?peaceWaywardTraveller

ZosoIV
Well, it looks like the cheapest discs I could find here in the states were on Amazon Marketplace for 4.35 USD each. eBay's discs didn't go for less than around $5/each in packs of five with ridiculous shipping costs to boot. I bought ten to start me off, but with my taste for 352kbps A3+ and PCM, they won't last but a week Here's an idea - let's keep this thread alive for future use. When anybody sees a good deal on Hi-MD discs, post it here (with a date + URL) for others to partake of. Maybe we could make this thread a sticky?
