AVITWeb
From what I understand, this unit is supposed to get power from the usb cable when connected, but after doing some transferring, i noticed the battery life was about half....no big deal, but wondering whats up with that? Does it just mean that if I take the battery out, it will use the usb power instead of battery?
The Low Volta
well, I dunno for sure, but as it works without the battery, I have just built a habit of removing the battery before connecting to PC
greenmachine
When unplugging from USB, the unit will re-read the disc index and thus consume some battery power. If you let it power down and switch back on, the indicator should be back to normal (assuming you use the quick mode). There should be no battery power consumption when connected to USB, thus no need to remove the battery.
rayzray
if you leave the battery in; and use the usb (on the (900);; and hit "stop" twice (or maybe once); will it start re-charging the battery;or, is that only when the AV adaptor is plugged in.that was annoying; so,, i take the battery out when connecting the usb cable.
