Richard
Does the track you are trying to upload already exist in "My Library" - if so it won't upload it again.

Avrin
I never saw a 1st generation HiMD unit in my life, but this looks like a driver (NETMD033.SYS - this one is actually used for both 1st and 2nd generation units) glitch. Try disconnecting the unit, restarting your computer (completely), and then connecting the unit again. Edited June 17, 2006 by Avrin
danielbb90
Tried restartin' that didn't work!
The Low Volta
you didn't record in a legacy format did you? (SP or LP2/4)this won't upload... try recording something (short) in HiSP, something in HiLP and something in PCM just for testing... danielbb90
it was Hi-SP 64kbps...
The Low Volta
HiSP = 256kbps... I guess 64kbps = HiLP or somethingjust record something on another disc for testing (and try some different bitrates) and also check whether the write-protection tab (of the disc in question) is onwas it a recording or a transfered track? I dunno whether tracks transfered from PC (with SB or older versions of SS) are actually uploadable... check with a recorded track...if that uploads, it has something to do with the rights to the track(s) in question and no probs with the hardware/softwarehave you ever (with older versions etc) been able to upload (this or similar tracks)?have you thought about posting full system specs according to ther rules? danielbb90
I have actually uploaded these tracks before on the same version SSCP, just that was before a format and now they won't upload... And it was a transfered track I have uploaded them on 2 computers, just temparly before now just fine...I'll try recordin' somethings later, when I get the time... raintheory
Look around in and near C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\SonicStage\Packages and see if the tracks are anywhere in or around there...Failing that the only other thing I could recommend would be a full uninstall/reinstall of SonicStage. Although if you are able to upload other recordings (from other discs) then it may be an issue with the disc itself... Do you have any problems playing the track or just in uploading?EDIT: Just for kicks you could try renaming the track and see if it will upload after that. lol, never know. Avrin
SS40 does have problems uploading. Various ones. Mostly serious. Legacy codecrap still plays its part...Try uploading just a few of your files. Such as a single group. Edited June 19, 2006 by Avrin
