alanisrox69
Sony just put up the 4.0 software for US models!Go get it!-Derek-
Skradgee
How 'bout that...it was added today, but it's been officially available to Canada since May 25th! Of course Sony has to tweak the software for the online music store, but it seems like spreading that out over a month isn't really necessary. Anyway, I just rebuilt my laptop and haven't reinstalled SonicStage yet so I'll check it out tonight.
Karmageddon
is there any major improvements over the 3.4 that came with my RH-1?
Tunster
is there any major improvements over the 3.4 that came with my RH-1?The biggest difference is that AAC is supported. So if you have any AAC/M4A/3GPP audio files, sonicstage can now support them and transcode them into ATRAC (for MD stuff) or upload them entirely onto their flash/HDD based network walkmans that have a firmware update to support AAC playback. You can also rip CDs into AAC as well.Probably quicker navigation around the program too without crashing.Have a peek at the news topic about SS4.0.http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=15758
